I successfully managed to avoid buying products for years from any premier league clubs sponsors. My missus was fully aware of this boycott but still bought me a samsung mobile for Christmas a few years back. Other than that ive kept it up. As a non better its pretty easy these days

I had Waitrose and John Lewis on a ten year ban. I've lifted it recently.

I wouldn't use Ryanair. I've never bought Apple.

USPS are **** if you ever import anything, as are DHL.

What’s wrong with the JLP? Fair employers, I was led to believe.

Time flies or not - it's probably 5 or 6, not 10 years.

Just some extremely bad treatment on one particular day that ended wth me tearing the manager off a strip on the shop floor.

At a rough guess, it cost them probably £20k in custom.

The actual checkout staff in my waitrose are nice people who knew me very well - which is what made it all the more galling that I ended up dealing with one or two arseholes that had been newly transported in.

Guess anyone can have a bad day, but I can't recall anything other than excellent service when dealing with Waitrose & JL.

TravelRepublic - unbelievably incompetent - managed to book us on the wrong flight outward bound (not even on the right day!) and leave us stranded in Zante for the non-existent return. Fought for months to avoid giving us reasonable compensation. Useless scum of the lowest order.

I'm intrigued by the amount of people who are boycotting Uber? Any particular reason? I've got a couple of mates who are black cab drivers and they hate that company with a passion - for obvious reasons.

Its slave labour
The amount of hours the drivers have to work to get the basic wage is disgraceful
Coupled with the fact its an unfair advantage.
Detest the company(not the drivers)

Fair point. I agree. Their prices are stupidly low - something 50p a mile, in central London. That's insane.

How come the boycotting of McDonalds - Apart from the **** food?

**** food they pretend is healthy.
Plus they allegedly donated to a certain organisation back in the 80s.
Could be rubbish, but when pulled on it they denied it with 3 different excuses,so wont give them the chance.
Haven't eaten them since about 85/86.

Wasn't that exposed to be a myth? The initials on the payslip stood for "Individual Retirement Account" which is a standard thing the USA on payslips.
It's worth boycotting for the food alone, although I must admit to indulging when I've been drunk and starving.

They're deliberately undercutting. The passenger fare is only half of the true cost, their venture capital is subsiding the rest.

Motorline Group - used them at 2 different dealer ships for two different makes. Never again.

Benson's for Beds - Ordered 29th December, still waiting after 2 delivery dates changed - one after taking a day's annual leave to be home, only to basically be told I'm lying when I said the store never contacted me to say they had to change my original delivery date, and siding with the store when the store said they had (They didn't) - then when I'm wanting to cancel my order after the second non-arrival, saying they are charging me 20% as the bed had already been made to order - and to contact the furniture ombudsman if I wanted to get my full cost back. Horrible, horrible company, whose compensation was a £50 voucher to use with them. GFY. Will never set foot in their stores again.

They'd better deliver Monday...

Land of Leather - I was pleased when they went into receivership, shockingly bad quality sofa trumped by their customer service.
Vodafone - Boycotted when they started sponsoring Man U, went back for years and the completely screwed up cancelling a contract on a second line I took out when I got a tablet off them.
I Post Parcels/UKMail - Parcel contents STOLEN by their own workers in their own depot, reported to police and eventually got paid out on their insurance. Not even a customer services number to call.
Hoeseason Holidays - Their admin f up resulted in me getting a CCJ
