Very glad to see so many who won't use Uber.

Never set foot in Starbucks.

* VW, BMW;
* London Transport;
* Royal Brunei airlines;

I have some in my professional working environment where I simply won't engage with certain companies because of them constantly chancing their arm financially, having overly intrusive owners/managers or they simply don't get what they are being asked to do because the managers are idiots.

Often if the gap between death and signing the policy is under 12 months they will not.

I'd rather walk than use Ryanair.

Ryanair & Tesco

After about 5 years of not using Ryanair, I used them recently, they reminded me brilliantly why I had put a ban on them...

Another vote for Ryanair. Flew to Dusseldorf (weeze) a few years back. Naively i actually presumed the airport would be somewhere close to Dusseldorf. Its basically in Holland and is about 60 miles from Dusseldorf. Never flown with them since. r soles

It is when they advertise it as Dusseldorf.

It has got to a stage now where I double check everything as every company seems to be trying to mislead. It's like the 'from' price on lots of things and once you actually add everything up its nothing like the price advertised.

I've used Uber for quite some time now and the service has never been anything other than excellent. It's all about personal experiences i suppose, as i've never had any issues with Ryanair either!

I've remembered somebody who is extremely **** though - Yodel. God awful company. Their customer service is a joke. They haven't got a scooby.

Their service could well differ depending on where you/I live to be fair.

Regarding Ryanair, a work colleague took time out to become an airline pilot. He said he would never fly with them, something to to with impossible turnaround times.

Starbucks
Uber
Talk Talk
Hermes
All for the same reasons that others have stated, Talk Talk hit me with a £300 bill a year after I had cancelled and moved and went straight to a debt agency with no delay. The paperwork showed that the bills were for after the date of their own letter confirming termination, they still went all the way to launching CCJ proceedings - thrown out by the court when I produced the paperwork (luckily I had kept it all). Then six months later re-launched a bid to claim the same money, it took a solicitors latter threatening legal action for the ****wits to stop.

There is another delivery company (arrow?) are even worse than Hermes, only deliver monday to friday and give no time. I was once stood at the end of the drive talking to one of their drivers on the phone who swore he was stood on my doorstep and I wasn't answering the door, he then went back to the depot as apparently I didn't answer my door. Their solution was that I should drive 50 miles to their depot to collect it myself - ended in a complaint to the company I had bought the goods from and a competent company delivering.

Nestle. Which is very difficult because they have so many subsidiaries. There's a laundry list of serious reasons not to use their products. Commodifying the world's fresh water sources is controversial enough, but how they go about acquiring water and where they get their water is despicable, and in some cases ought to be criminal. I'm not even including the environmental consequences of their water syphoning and bottling businesses. People should pay attention. Our planet's water supply is going to be a central issue for control of power in the years to come.

Lots of Starbucks mentions, is this mainly due to their tax avoidance?
