Last night was a last minute pull the bbq out job... pork & chorizo sausages, a few burgers, vegetable kebabs and a potato salad. Might rain this weekend, so thought I'd get in quick.

Ribs, chips, coleslaw, corn cobs, home made BBQ sauce. Most satisfactory.

Oh man. That sounds amazing.

I went into M & S on the way home and they were reducing stuff. I picked up an 8 pack of beef burgers (among other things for the freezer) and bbq'd them. I had three of those in toasted bunswith shredded lettuce, red onion, cheap cheese squares, mayo, American mustard and ketchup

Aye, twas nice. Shredded the meat off the bones, ribman-style, which went down well with the family.

Tonight is lamb koftas, pittas, salad, haloumi, salad & olives. And chips, because I bloody love chips.

Tomorrow is pork carnitas. Cuban & Mexican are v. popular with both junior and senior NutNocks. Will report back once we've tried them.

Roast Leg of Lamb, Roast Tatties, Cauliflower Cheese, Carrots, Honey Roast Parsnips, Broccoli, Peas and Asperagus. Lashings of gravy and mint sauce, all washed down with a nice Shiraz and then Rhubarb Crumble made with Rhubarb that was still rooted in our garden this morning. Handsome.
