Lasagne last night, which I rushed and pretty much cocked it up.

On the contrary to Sendo I didn't reduce my tomato or meat mixes enough, nor did I stir my white sauce for long enough. Left a pretty sloppy outcome although did just about hold together. First time using prosciutto in the meat mix and on top with the mozzarella, which I will certainly be doing again. Very nice.

It's old mother hubbard's at my house at the minute. I rooted around in the freezer and found some beef brisket in gravy, so I'm doing that in a pie, with roast potatoes and veg

Cook some chopped bacon, onions and peppers. Scoop out the inside of the potatoes and mix the bacon and veg with loads of grated cheese and salt and pepper. Cheese on the top and grill. You won't regret it.

You should try cooking the jackets first, opening them up, spoon out a little bit of potato and mix in a generous knob of butter (none of this low fat spread mallarkey) and then cracking an egg into each half and pop back in oven till eggs are done.

It was ****ing banging to be fair to her. Although I stood over her and watched as she cooked, but more through hunger than fear she'd nause it up.
