Bought a box of 10 embassy filters, looked just like the old candy cigarettes, were so cute.
Re: things you can just not buy anymore
That would be considered racist today
Re: Things you can just not buy any moreBrannigan's Beer Nuts
Still see their crisps in some shops but alas no nuts.
Re: Things you can just not buy any more
They were truly awesome, them things. As with the spicy tomato wheat crunchie and the Texan bar, they were deemed too nice to be enjoyed by the public, and removed from production.
Re: Things you can just not buy any moreOld Jamaica Rum and Raisin Chocolate was introduced by @CadburyUK in 1970 before being discontinued in 2003, it was then relaunched under the Bourneville banner before sadly disappearing again in 2014

Re: Things you can just not buy any moreCan you still get Golden Syrup Cake and Jamaica Ginger Cake?
Not seen them in a while.
Re: Things you can just not buy any more
Bloody loved those. So much better than the bacon ones or whatever the flavour is in the purple bag.
Re: Things you can just not buy any more
Very much so. Asda, Morrisons. Quite often an extortionate £1.30 in some shops but look around & you should find them for £0.65
Re: Things you can just not buy any moreHeinz tinned syrup sponge pudding
I was gutted when I found out they were discontinued.
Re: Things you can just not buy any more
Brannigan's roast beef and mustard crisps were awesome. You just cannot get them now. I've seen them once on sale in recent years (up north in a pub somewhere) but can't get them down here at all.
Re: Things you can just not buy any moreGCRO, I can still get those crisps in one of those iffy looking cheap food shops up the road from work.
Still as good as ever!!
Re: things you can just not buy anymore
Very much missed. the Russian roulette of who's can would explode leaving them in a panic stricken moment of humiliation and a sticky sugary layer for the rest of the day.
Re: Things you can just not buy any more
Yeah come to think of it, the last time I saw a pack of them was in a cheapo shop called Savers or something like that. Gutted I didn't buy more of them. They go great with beer and the mustard they use is nuclear strength. ** EDIT ** that shop was called "home bargains".
Re: Things you can just not buy any more
Seem to remember them making my eyes water ![]()
