The bar of Milk Tray that had the lime barrel as one of the 6 chocolates, not lime barrel on the selection box any more for many years. It's not fair.

Jamboree Bags............ 4 Sided Frozen Jubbly's............. Old English Spangle's these tasted so strange.
Beech Nut Chewing Gum used to get these from a machine on railway platforms. Talking of, you used to be able to print your name on a bit of lead from a machine also.

My brother tried that in our local sweetshop. Unfotunately he didn't realise this shop had a breakfast cafe at the back from which my Dad saw him do it.

Proper wild mushrooms ( not the magic ones ) in the fields. Im not 100% certain but i think its because of the amount of fertilizer farmers are spreading in the fields
They were delicious. Much wilder taste than tunnel grown mushrooms.

My last gaff was surrounded by common land ( had grazing rights) ,in early autumn the kids often picked 2or3 bags of them while waiting for the school bus.All depends on the weather, some years there's loads others sod all.
Agree about the taste, far better. If you do find some, try drying them in a slow oven, the flavour is intense, almost like truffles.

Spanish wood.

I think this can still be obtained online or in some health food outlets for bloody exorbitant prices but it used to be readily available "dahn the maahket" where my mum would buy it for me as a treat. Haven't had or even seen any in decades.

??? Never heard of that in my life, what is it?

In my house every Xmas, these were seen as the equivalent of Terry's All Gold's rather common and slutty cousin. I loved the lime ones.

Not so much something you cna't but, but something you certainly don't see much anymore is those floor standing spinning signs you used to see outside of shops.
