Quite weird but I actually like the sound of baked beans with baconburgers, probably the majority of ingredients are the same as what goes in the kidney soup

They're still around mate, seen em in lots of shops. The pastry always burnt on the top and stayed soggy underneath IIRC.

You're going to the wrong bars.

I haven’t seen a Slush Puppy machine in a Cornershop/Newsagents for a long time. Loved a Slush Puppy. Great on a hot summers day.

Breakfast slices
Sainsbury's used to do them. A mixture of sausage & chopped bacon shaped into something the same size as a bacon rasher. used to love them

They're not in the newsagents anymore but you get them in the nice little cafes in the parks.

Kidney Soup? Think I produced a few litres of that the morning after I went to that Cognac tasting the other week.

Sadly not, some event in town loosely affiliated with the Whiskey Exchange. Tried dozens of different bottles, including several £300+ jobs. They were all delicious, but I did start feeling a bit dented towards the end of the evening, especially when we started on the brandy cocktails. Great fun, but felt like 20 different kinds of sh*t in the morning.

BTW, you can still get Wright's Coal Tar soap, stinks like Silvertown once did but good for psoriasis.

My old mate , The Collector hails from Silvertown - ' Mad Max ' eh ? Would explain a lot .

When I was 6,7 or 8 I used to have my legs covered in coal tar bandages as they thought it was a cure for eczema - I'd scratch my poor legs even worse after they came off - I found an old photograph of myself when I was a wee boy and I can see the bandages underneath the long socks I'd wear .

Oi!

Mad Max? How very dare you!

Anyway, it’s Knight’s and not Wright’s.
