Come on, what completely unnecessary items have you bought today just because they were on sale?!

Them light bulbs that you shout at to switch on & off. Pretty much a waste of money, though there are some fairly cool things you can do with the coloured lights & Kodi.

Otherwise, everything was ordered on the basis that we wanted/needed. The Echo Dot 3 is considerably nicer than the 2 - no need for a separate speaker for everyday music listening. Speaker is bigger and 15W as opposed to the previous model’s 9W.

If that is supposed to be funny, it's not.

My view is the white ambient ones make most sense. We have a couple of coloured ones but rarely use them for that. However having an ambient white one in the bedroom means you can have white lights when required, warm lights for relaxing etc.

I have one Dot and one Google Home mini - I need to pick which way to go before buying any more!

I may have been exagerating the truth, however the shower speaker is true though, £22 down from £89 on Amazon :D

WTF does an £89 shower speaker look like. They normally just come from Boots as unwanted Christmas presents in a box with a soap-on-a-rope.

That is the perfect example of a Black Friday purchase. A gadget that you don't really need, but vastly reduced from a probably made up RRP enough to make you buy!

So far today I've bought some milk and some tissues (stop it, I've got a cold) and the bloke at the corner shop wouldn't give me anything off at all. The whole thing is a travesty as far as I'm concerned, and I won't be buying anything else today. Unless there's lasagne in the staff restaurant.

Not unnecessary but just got a Dyson as I've not had a fully working vacuum for 6 months, got my daughters Ipad for Christmas (£40 voucher from Apple thrown in) and upgraded my phone as well (a deal that was over £20 a month more yesterday)

All things I planned to do but waited until this week to see if I could save a few £ and did. Pleased.
