Pet Ownership

Postby JuniorBilly on Wed Apr 10, 2019 9:59 am

Kumbers,

Any pet owners (or future pet owners) on here that wouldn't mind taking 2 mins out of their day to complete the following quick survey about pet ownership;

https://uselenny.typeform.com/to/vgJsEg

This is for a potential business idea. Would be much appreciated!

Cheers

You're setting up an online booking service for vets? Fair play.

Done, but I own dogs and cats (It's like an 'effin menagerie in my gaff) and there's no option for both :thup:

Sorted - I take my pets to the vets less than once a year though. Maybe once every 3.

Done, I couldn't answer question 12 as my vet doesn't offer appointments, you have to turn up and wait your turn.

Thing about pets, specially dogs, is they're a responsibility. The missus falls in love with every little inbred ****-machine she sees and says 'we must have one'. (why?). We've got a dirty great garden with a bit of a forest at the back, and one existing cat/dog flap (we'd have to fit another to allow free access to the garden). I just recall some people on the Scillies who bred (and genuinely loved) Hungarian Vizlas, but I also recall going past their place during the day and hearing one of the puppies howling with bereft loneliness. I just don't want to get a dog, bond with it, then leave it alone all day while we're at work, let alone on holiday trips. They're emotionally intelligent creatures that need to be in a pack/family. I like dogs and cats, but I'm also aware that dogs especially need a permanent family situation. Don't want to take that on.
