Anyone know if I can walk into a high street bookmaker and place a bet on them divorcing within 5 years and her moving to the US, taking the kid with her?

I was thinking the same, great career move for her, and now she has a royal baby as her Ace card.

Not bad, not bad at all.

I wonder how the Royals will kill her off though?

The only question mark for me is whether or not she'll consider getting a spare off Harry first, just to be sure, which could extend her stay here a bit longer. My guess is she will, and will be planning to have the decree nisri submitted by 2024 with the deal finalised in 2026, so I might need to check what odds I'll get on 5, 7 and 10 year windows.

The odds won't be great, they're all divorcing these days. 3/4 of Lilibet's orfspring have done it now.

Danny Baker sacked by the BBC for racist tweet. It featured a couple holding a dressed chimp's hands and was entitled 'Royal Baby Leaves Hospital'.

Oops.

Strange one this.

He seems too smart to not have understood the connotations this would have.

..and the almost inevitable end of his career?

Either he knew what it was which is absolutely reprehensible. Or he didn't make the connection which makes him about the dumbest guy on earth.

Whatever it was, it was only going to end one way...

Not understanding the racist over tones of posting a photo of a chimp to represent a mixed race baby....
Typical Millwall!

I agree H72, he surely must have understood how it would have been received.

I can't believe that he would have known and still posted it.

Exactly - it doesn't make sense that he knew and doesn't make sense that he didn't!

It's 2019. How can you not know that a photo of a chimp to represent a mixed race baby is going to cause carnage?

Am I the only person here who can look at a picture of a monkey and not automatically think "person of colour"?

No. Not at all. But a photo of a chimp with a caption depicting it as the mixed race royal baby isn't just a picture of a monkey is it?

Of course not but come on. It's all about context, you must see that.

I wouldn't be offended by a picture of a gas oven if we were discussing appliances. But if you posted it on a page where we were discussing the holocaust...

Fairy Nuff

I hadn’t seen the actual photo when I posted the above (image seems to have disappeared, it was the P G Tips monkey toy dressed as the Queen i.e. young Archie’s great granny).

Having now seen the offending article, Its hard NOT to make the race connection. Massive brain fart by the boy Baker.
