You forget, all the money we pay in we get some back in rebates or trade.
Why invest in the UK when we can share the wealth across the EU and get some back to pay for projects the EU say we can.

So long as we do properly 100% leave as originally promised in the 9 million pound leaflet sent out at taxpayers expense by the government of David Cameron during the campaign......

If you are happy to pay MEP expenses for days they don't work, move office 2x a year. And all the other waste of money they have managed to get. Great.
I think the money could be better spent here.

Dispite our current universal criminal information exchange the EU thinks it wise to kick us out. Dispite helping stop at least 4 terrorist attacks.
Yet the EU claims to have citizens at heart. Pull the other one.
They can't accept freedom of movement helped the terrorists travel across Europe.

It looks like our collective leaders in the Commons seem to be continuing in their attempts to plumb new depths in the ongoing Brexit furore, this time forcing an MP out of hospital to vote in person in the House.

Traditionally, unwell MPs are able to be "nodded through" by whips if they make it onto the Parliamentary estate, without having to leave their vehicle and enter the House of Commons, and it is rare for this convention to be cast aside.

She told The Guardian she had been told by her party's whips to travel to Westminster but assured she would be able to stay in the car - however she said the Conservatives insisted she had to vote in person by walking through the voting lobbies in the Commons.

She would still have needed to leave hospital and been physically present within Westminster in order to be nodded through. The alternative of phoning up and saying you're feeling a bit peaky and would you please cast my vote whichever way the whips say would never be abused of course.

I wouldn't rely on The Guardian for Brexit news in the same way I wouldn't rely on the Daily Mail

Something bad happens
The Guardian = "must be Brexit"
Daily Mail = "must be immigrants"
