So static it is mind blowing.
Hull goalkeeper Allan McGregor has won an appeal against his red card in the 2-1 defeat at West Ham on Wednesday.
McGregor was sent off for a challenge on Mohamed Diame that led to a penalty for the Hammers.
But an independent regulatory commission has overturned the decision and McGregor's one-match suspension.
The Scot, 32, is unlikely to play again this season after sustaining kidney damage in the incident in the first half at Upton Park.
A bit of a hollow victory, as he'll spend the rest of the season in and out of hospital.
Overturned?? Why?? This to me stinks of sympathy as he is in hospital. He fouled Diame for sure. Whether or not Diame handled the ball before the foul is irrelevant

I thought that what was quoted as being the reason for Carroll's non-overturn. It seems since that point every dubious red card has been overturned. I didn't understand the FA's reason for not overturning it then and still don't now. I reckon they just make it up on the spot.
I'm with you on that pharaoh , they are a law unto themselves ....would be nice to know their reasoning behind it being overturned, just so we can have a bit of clarity !
