last i heard he was blowing hot and cold in the championship!! 8-)

Yer right though, a player like that is exactly what we're missing... but with better application/attitude.

Brian Fantana wrote:The thing that was highlighted for me against Hull was our lack of movement, football is a simple game, pass and move, I see time and time again our players pass the ball and just stand there, no one is making a run into space to receive the ball back. So static it is mind blowing.
it's been like that for years now.

Indeed
If we had a player like that, he'd be ideal in the Nolan position........
Would be wasted as Noble's water carrier

Me and my mates had a good laugh when he said that and commented that George Parris wasn't wrong.

On the few occasions Noble does get into the opposing box a goal opportunity invariably follows.

McGregor's red card overturned
Hull goalkeeper Allan McGregor has won an appeal against his red card in the 2-1 defeat at West Ham on Wednesday.
McGregor was sent off for a challenge on Mohamed Diame that led to a penalty for the Hammers.
But an independent regulatory commission has overturned the decision and McGregor's one-match suspension.
The Scot, 32, is unlikely to play again this season after sustaining kidney damage in the incident in the first half at Upton Park.
A bit of a hollow victory, as he'll spend the rest of the season in and out of hospital.

Overturned?? Why?? This to me stinks of sympathy as he is in hospital. He fouled Diame for sure. Whether or not Diame handled the ball before the foul is irrelevant

I thought it could only be overturned if it was an obvious error on the referee's part ?

I thought that what was quoted as being the reason for Carroll's non-overturn. It seems since that point every dubious red card has been overturned. I didn't understand the FA's reason for not overturning it then and still don't now. I reckon they just make it up on the spot.

I'm with you on that pharaoh , they are a law unto themselves ....would be nice to know their reasoning behind it being overturned, just so we can have a bit of clarity !

I don't care if it's overturned or not, as long as it doesn't affect the result. I don't get why some of you are getting worked up over it!

Dont understand the decision to have it overturned at all! It was a definite red. Its debatable that the handball before it was deliberate.
