yep before that game is was rammed uptop and we stood outside down stairs when they opened up another small bar. Not great selection and it was bloody cold but we met a few of the lads and had a laugh. The bar upstairs afterwards was fine and no probs getting to the bar, watching the egg chasing and us west ham having the burnley boys singing our songs.Had a pub across the way from where we stayed which was ok(ish) but think we'll do the Blackpool jaunt next away game up that way - although if manure we'll stick in Manchester.

I popped into the cricket club at noon to meet someone and they only had upstairs open and it was silly mobbed...so i went on to where i was going. Everyone else i met up with said that the cricket club was awful although they opened the downstairs bar for more room although it was still over packed apparently.

Just makes you wonder what people want from pubs near football grounds

Shocking toilets and warm beer?

Their second goal was a lot to do with Green's poor positioning. Their first was woeful defending by Upson. Add those two up and you get 3 more lost points, which is a shame because we played well.

I give you Upson, shocking schoolboy/Sunday league defending, but Green for me cannot be held responsible for the second, just one of those strikes that either hits row z or buries itself in the top corner, top corner this time, unlucky for us.

Why's that always the case with Green though? Every free kick/corner=heart in mouth moment for old Green. Why is it that you know something's going to happen against us if we give away a free kick? Robert's a brilliant shot stopper and a solid goalkeeper but his poor positioning and aerial ability have cost us dearly.

I still question why we had no-one on the back post. Whether it would have made any difference, who knows but having someone doing a Konch, maybe it would have put the lad off from attempting the shot
