Agree. He's certainly got the kind of attitude that our team needs.

Is it me or has he gotten considerably quicker in recent games?

Or is it just that everyone else has got slower?

...oh...team selection depends on the results the previous day....

Agree let's have a laugh on the way down.
Everyone should get these in Claret and Blue and chuck them about would liven the stand up!

We're not quite gone yet. It's feasible that Blackpool will lose to Bolton. It's feasible that Wolves will lose at Sunderland. Is it feasible that we'll win at Wigan though? On current form, I'd say no. On the commitment the players have shown, I'd say no. Still, if all three happen, then it's win against Sunderland and hope Man U beat Blackpool and Wolves can't beat Blackburn.

Yeah, we're ****ed.

I just realised by 3 pm Saturday we could be relegated if Wolves beat Sunderland away, so before we even play this game it could be all done and dusted.

Technically, we wouldn't be.

It would, however, involve us winning our last 2 and Birmingham and/or Blackburn losing both their last 2, with a few extra goals going in, in our favour.

Yes mathematically we could still stay up, but can you really see that happening?

That's spot on, I'd overlooked Birmingham's Sunday kick off also.

So, Saturday 12.45pm we need Wolves to lose at Sunderland (2-1, ish), and Blackburn lose at home to Man United (say, 0-3, for instance). We also want Bolton to win at Blackpool (0-1, possibly). Making the table look like this no Saturday night:

15 Blackburn 37 -17 39
16 Birmingham 36 -18 39
17 Wolves 37 -22 37
18 Blackpool 37 -23 36
19 Wigan 36 -23 36
20 West Ham 36 -23 33

Meaning we go into the Wigan game knowing that a win or draw is enough to make keep us in it till the last game. If we lose we're gone.

we need to win but would still start 4-4-2 for this one

Green

Jac Tompkins/Gabbidon DaCosta Bridge

Sears Parker Hitz Collison

Ba Keane

Bit of pace up front and Keane will be itching to make up for that miss

Bit harsh on Spector but just feel Parker and Hitz better option

If we need to go all out for the win then use Piq, Cole and Obinna

If these results come off we would then need to win both the wigan and Sunderland games and get our goal difference down to -18 to make sure that we definately stay up although perhaps just two wins will be enough if either Birmingham lose both their matches or Wolves get no more then two points from their last two matches.
A draw will not be enough as we need at least three points.

I appreciate the odds are against us and theres a lot of ifs and buts in there but I still think that theres a big twist to come in what has been a crazy aseason so far!

A draw will be fine if the aformentioned results come off. We'll be on 34, with three to play for at home to Sunderland, with us hoping to better the goal difference of Wolves on 37, whilst also hoping Wigan &/or Blackpool don't better our points and/or goal difference on the final day.

For those of you above who still feel we have a chance, the bookies have us at 1/12 to get relegated
