Wasn't that cold!

Cold for us southerners - I did see a Boro fan in a Tshirt though.

I'm pretty sure WestHamAirdrie was wearing flip-flops, shorts and a Hawaiin shirt.

All that was missing was some sangria.

Fat Sam in his email of the day seems to think there were 1500 of us and we sat down.

1,200 or 1,500, that is superb support in my opinion.. I doubt even Chelsea would take up anywhere near that to Sunderland on a Tueday night in November.. Leeds took half of West Yorkshire to Nottingham though i believe..

Special mentions to the boro groundstaff member who fell over and got tangled up in that netting and the bunch of 15 year olds hiding behind a thin line of stewards and police who bricked it when west ham offered them out. Just looked through Middlesbroughs match reports of all their home games this season. Only us and Leicester have gone up there on a weeknight (Leicester took 600+), Blackpool took the most up there with just over 1900 but that was a saturday afternoon. Shows how great our support is really, I doubt many clubs would take 1200 up there on a saturday let alone a tuesday.

Reading through some of the posts since the match.... can't believe there are people suggesting we were a bit quiet!! I was 4 rows from the front and from where I was all I could hear was noise from us! For most of the 2nd half it was an endless stream of "we're all west hams claret n blue arm" It's the best away support I've experienced for a few years Admittedly it went a bit quiet at the start of the 2nd half where we were after my mate dropped his arse leaving the vilest smell in the air I've ever smelt....and thats saying something considering we were in Boro!!!! Never seen so many people at a football match gagging from the smell of a fart before!

This has probably been mentioned but i have just remembered. Can someone explain to me why, when we were defending corners the player we left furthest forward was Diop?

Think we'll win this one. If I was gonna make a prediction think I'd stick my neck out and say 2-0 to the hAmmers.
