Allardyce's main suit.

Out-thinking a home manager.

We'll be set up to nick this, but I fancy we will.

I realise that but why is there a 13 page thread of negativity over 2 home draws in a week?
It's the West Hsm way after all.

Because, after Cardiff, and the chances we created there, people thought we could replicate it against 'lesser teams'?

There's a hopefulness that follows every decent victory. Same as when we did Blackpool, I suppose.

We all just want another month like November.

With Nolan, our captain, Sam is capable of conjuring that back up.

Where there's a will....

Vaz Te having a scan tomorrow. No chance he is gonna play in the next 2 fixtures.

Injury happened on Saturday afternoon. How can we afford to postpone scan to 72 hours after the injury? Is the club waiting for Groupon coupons on hamstring scans????

I think you need to wait a certain amount of time for muscular injuries, might be wrong.

Does anyone know what is actually wrong with Winston Reid? Last time I read about him, he could be out for the season? Big Sam was having a whinge at NZFA for putting his career at risk etc? I thought he bumped his head?

Leeds seemed to have their tails up against Middlesborough on Sunday , and that was probably down to their new manager and our favourite Northerner , Mr Warnock .

We'll do well to win this one , so I'm going for a 2-2 draw .

I think we should play O'Neil in the middle with Noble, He has the energy we need, can tackle and is decent enough on the ball. Didn't he used to pop up with a lot of goals from this position at pompy & boro?
Nolan infront of these two but he needs to get right up to Cole when we hoof it.

Taylor back into midfield is a must, no idea who to play right midfield, i guess it has to be faubert if fit as we have no one else and morrison/montano are not going to be thrown in for a game like this.

hopefully JoB is fit to come back in at right back.
Jack is in desperate need of a rest, I personally think he needs a few 30 minute sub appearences at the end of games.

Not really heard much about O'Brien & Faubert, so no idea if either or both will be available for this. We could really do with one of them at RB though.
I'd go with:-

-----------Green
JOB-Faye-Collins-Linda
-------Tomkins-Noble
Collison-Nolan-Taylor
-----------Cole
Subs - Lansbury, O'Neill, Maynard, Baldock, Faubert

A good line-up but could also go with 4-1-4-1. Good to have Lansbury and O'Neill on the bench. I think this game is all about midfield. We HAVE to play well as a unit this week. We did it at Cardiff.

I can see possibly starting with Maynard like against Cardiff, with Carlton there it all too easy to start the hoof when we come under pressure too soon into the game. We played intelligently at Cardiff and we will certainly have to this week.
