I think we look tired ,fragile and underconfident. I don't think the away magic will work. I suspect we will either get well beaten or possibly snatch a draw.

We'll win. Another 2-0. Hopefully we can play full-backs on their right side and have two proper wingers.

I'm also on coach 3 Laffers. No one else in my group of mates could afford this, so look out for someone on their own, looking like their ready to shoot themselves at the thought of the trip to Leeds and back alone and that will prbably be meHammer Laffers wrote:I'm going to this, and I'm getting the coach up. On coach 3 which is my unlucky number to. Oh, and my record of coach trips won 1 lost 3.
2-0 to then then

Re: Leeds United v West Ham United: Match Thread
Looking forward to this game funnily enough, don't expect a win there because of our poor record against Leeds, but it would be nice to come away with something. Wouldn't be too displeased with a draw in fact, just some good play.

I've been left feeling completely gutted by recent results and I just cannot see us getting anything from this one.
I suppose our good away form is some comfort and I truly hope we can get the win we need to get us back on track.
Leeds looked a real handful against Southampton but i think we are a better away side than the saints so hopefully we have a chance.

Green in goal, 2 central defenders, 2 overlapping full backs, 2 holding midfield players, 2 attacking midfielders, plus Maynard and Balders up front will do it and if we can get the ball back within 10 seconds of losing it, that will guarantee us the points. Come to think of it, that would guarantee us the points home and away against anybody in this league

It is a stinker, but I am reasonably optimistic that our run avoiding defeat can continue.Denbighammer wrote:Our record at Elland Road absolutely stinks. Last 25 years record = P13 W1 D2 L10 F7 A23
Obviously, it doesn't help that they're looking for their first win under Colin, so, for more than one reason, lets hope they notch that today.
I'd go for the same starting eleven as Cardiff (a) personally.

Re: Leeds United v West Ham United: Match Thread
Hello first post, but i'm predicting a win this weekend, judging by our away form. Was gutted in the home game, but now that Max Gradel has moved i think it puts us in a better position, I felt he was the best player on the pitch at home.
And for once living in Leeds is a plus! For those coming up from Kings X by train, if you book with east coast, rather than national rail. It's normally a lot cheaper.

Re: Leeds United v West Ham United: Match Thread
after watching the boro leeds game and considering our god AWFUL record at elland road, im going 2-1 to leeds. hope im wrong
Re: Leeds United v West Ham United: Match Thread
We'll lose 3-0. Everyone will want to kill themselves. Yet we will go on to win the league.
Re: Leeds United v West Ham United: Match Thread
our away form is great, we'll win. Unfortunately, we'll lose at home to boro to negate this victory.
Re: Leeds United v West Ham United: Match Thread
Leeds kind of did us a favour today by beating Boro and keeping them well at bay. Unfortunately though I think they will tear us a new arse-hole on Saturday.

LUFC Warnock - I want to whip up the support
Leeds United boss Neil Warnock continued his rallying call to the fans ahead of the game with West Ham next weekend after enjoying his first win in charge at Middlesbrough.
Warnock has continued his plea to see 30,000 inside Elland Road, having been amazed by the support from the Leeds supporters since his arrival.
West Ham come to Elland Road next and Warnock described the Leeds support as unbelievable and he is hoping the win over Middlesbrough will have whipped up the Leeds support, as they make a late push for a play-off places.
Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, "This is the one that I am expecting not far off 30,000. They will bring 4,000 and I think with that result today, if we can whip the support up, I want 30,000 at Elland Road because the noise is unbelievable and I will be looking forward to it."
West Ham have already sold out their allocation, believed to be in the region of 3,000 tickets and sales in the Leeds end are going well with only limited availability remaining in the kop and the Northeast and North-West corners.
