Really important we get one over on them with the playoffs coming up. Psychological edge will be crucial.

... is one way of doing it, on the other hand.... ... go seven down in the first twenty minutes, Nolan and Demel then sent offf, hold out until 60 minutes, when Bonzo and DiCanio emerge from the tunnel, take off Green (Lansbury plays fly keeper) and McCarthy... fast forward ... Bonzo (after his seventeen stitches in his head wound), scores our eighth with a diving header in the 94th minute. (Di Canio runs back on the pitch to congratulate him - he himself having been sent off for hitting Noble over who would take the penalty for our fifth) {Footnote: Both Reading and Southampton were beaten 1 - 0}

Yesterday was just the beginning.
Monday, for Green, Tomkins, Noble and hopefully Carltinho - even if its only a cameo - is revenge.
Ricky Vaz and Maynard to cement places in the team. Nolan to fight and scrap for everything. Defence solid.
With the crowd behind us, we will capitalise on the mini-slips for Soton and Reading and the three horse race will be ON
Always believing.

This is a huge game. Possibly our toughest of the last 5. Particularly worried about the threat of Zigic. As we found out last season. Rubbish on the ground, but great in the air (as he should be at 7ft 9!). Have to keep possession and give them no time and space to cross.
All about us, we've just murdered a team 4-0. The home hasn't been great but I don't think they deliver the same threat as Reading. Really need the crowd behind us. If we perform, we should win this 2-0. We really need a performance.
The other games are also crucial for us. Think Southampton have a really tough derby game today at home to Portsmouth. League position will count for little, almost like when we play Millwall. It's a great leveller and could well be a draw. Reading have a tough game away at Brighton on Tuesday. Then both Southampton and Reading play eachother next Friday. We know points will be dropped by the top 2.
It's not over yet. COYI!!

I would play the same team except Faye for Reid, who can keep an eye on the freakshow. Same team, same formation, same result.

I'm hoping Faye was rested yesterday for the freak on Monday, in saying that we got a point at there place with a back four average hight if 5ft'6 & the six was only made up by Tomkins!
I can see Sam playing Tomkins in the holding role after last weeks game & Reading l's 2nd goal coming from a bounce that cleared up I'm the midfield. Big Papa didn't look fit enough to start when he came on yesterday but in saying that I wouldn't drop Gary O'Neil but he may need a rest as he's played so many games after such a horrific injury.
Big big big game! Bigger now then Reading & needs another atmosphere to drum the players up!
Just need to stop the Freak!!!!

Big big bame, we need to win this.
Also don't understand everyone calling for Faye over Reid? Reid is taller so would have a slightly better chance against Zigic although not many will outjump him anyway. Diop in for O'Neil perhaps to give the midfield strength although I was very impressed with Gary's workrate yesterday.

Reid was superb yesterday and made us look a lot better settled at the back, Tomkins was also on top form. Monday the players need US! the Loyal Supporters to back them from the kick off until the final whistle, we have got to be the 12th Man on the pitch and really intimidate Birmingham with the way we back Our Club and Team!
