They were lucky to get a point from us last time, but I feel we will be the ones sitting back this time 2-2
Nolan and Noble for us, Johnson and Mclean for them.

people are being very conservative when it comes to predictions ...i think we will definitely win there i said it ...if we play like we did against the Mancs we will win and if we are not playing too well finally we have a few different options on the bench and when i mean finally i mean that can change the game for the better and not just bringing on o neil when we are losing,

i predict nolan will score and so will Carlton

I'd say it's pretty much nailed on that Carlton has a weapon

No matter what team Big Sam is going to put out, it'll be a strong one no doubt. With our sudden strength in depth we'll also have a decent bench. Even if Diame and Carroll are fit for selection they would likely have to sit on the bench to begin with, but what options to have when needed.

I read somewhere that Sunderland currently only have 13 fit outfield players, so as long as we don't allow Sunderland to play we should be able to get a win or at least a point. If we take the game to them they will struggle to contain us, especially from setpieces...

Looks like you can pay on day on Saturday which might be handy as I might want one more. Anyone know how many we have shifted so far?

Hopefully, IF we play we well, we could nick it 1-0, but would be happy with a draw.

an away is a bit insidious, if we play like against manchester, we win. I think that will end in a draw

A Draw seems a Reasonable bet but i think we have more than enough to Win this one , If we play like we did at Newcastle we should get the 3 Points , I dont see any reason for a repeat of the Wigan or Reading performances but :hush:

I'd start with Chamakh. He came here to prove himself, so let's see what he's got; he can't play in the cup replay, so we save Carlton's knees. Diarra, Noble and Nollan midfield. Vaz Te + Jarvis wide.

Hopefully give Carlton, Joey and Collison 20 minutes at the end when we are comfortable.

0-2. Chamakh and Nolan.

Reading the Sunderland board is like a breath of fresh air. They seem a really decent bunch.

Toughest decision for med is Jarvis or Vaz Te, I´d give Jarvis the nod since we´re playing away from home.

Kevin Nolan has scored more goals against Sunderland (6) than he has against any other team in his career .

Decent bet for Saturday!

Pretty standard away tactics and formation from the gaffer I expect, cole up top and possibly joe cole and Jarvis on the wings. Probably wont be a thriller either. Always had a decent ammount of respect for Sunderland though especially after the Bobby Moore tributes so hopefully a good atmostphere 20 years on. Going for 1-1 again fletcher and Nolan!

Another one team city that has flattered to deceive year on year. They've got the stadium to have a charge at the top 6 but never have never looked close in recent years, aside from that one season Kevin Phillips was banging them in for fun.

Keep Fletcher quiet and we'll nick it.

Nolan is well overdue a goal. Sunderland are rather sh*t. It'd be very rude not to put a few squids on 0-1 Nolan
