id like to see

---------Noble (c) Diame
Jarvis--------Collison-------J.Cole
-----------------C.Cole

Jarvis and Taylor on the wrong wings doesnt work so well, Nolan is doing nothing for me to warrant inclusion, look how well Nobes played when he had the armband. Unfortunately Sam has to play him for 90 minutes every week, suprised he even came off for 3 or 4 minutes the other week. If he does drop him and I cant see it no doubt it'll be "an injury"

My desires for this game,

- If he still plays for us, Diarra at centreback.

- A left footed player at left back. Taylor if needs be.

- Joe Cole and Jarvis on either wing.

That'll be fine.

I think Diarra showed he is more than deserving to be in our first 11 and I will be very surprised if he doesn't play against Fulham.

I thought Collins was out for ages? Has there been any offical news on him? We never seem to get injury news from the club.

Not really. Diarra replaces Reid in an otherwise unchanged back 4...

Not the paciest CB pairing, but they should have enough to deal with Berbatov

I'd go:-
----------------Jussi
Demel-Tomkins-Reid/Diarra-JOB
-----------Noble-Diame
RVT---------Collison------J.Cole
---------------Carlton

I don't drop our captain lightly, but I do feel the majority of our attacking problems have been due to his ineffectivity, in what is the key position for getting the attacking side of our game to click.
We change the striker, change our wide options, and still are largely toothless. Time to change the one remaining unchanged ingredient imo

Start Vaz Te instead of Jarvis for me. I think Jarvis has been really disappointing; gets into loads of good positions then wastes them. You expect more goals and assists from a £10m winger. Make the two of them realise they have to fight for their place.

Putting the price tag to one side as it's kind of irrelevant when selecting a team, he has offered and provided far more than Vaz Te this season.

thing is somebody has to finish them!! I was there sat and he put in cross after cross after cross and nobody could seem to actually apply that finishing touch

prob because out BEST finisher is off at the ACON and even if he wasnt he wouldnt be starting

Tomkins rub a dub at best,he has been an absolute liability, constantly ball watching and losing
his awareness, its no surprise that BFS stayed loyal to Ginge,he obviousley had seen an insight
The big decision is CC,statistically he generally scores against Fulham,i cannot decide this one ?
Swamp the midfield with the Diame & Diarra,Nobes,Collinson,Jarvis, someone has to shut off
Berba when he drops deep to find space
Captain Fantastic your off corperate entertaining today,we cannot afford any shufflers out there
next Weds,playing shadow footy

It Won't help but keeping with our 4-3-3/4-5-1 and the fact Nolan has to play, I would go with

Jussi
Demel Diarra Reid Joey
Nolan Noble Diame
Cole Chamkah Jarvis

Think Cole needs a rest, he has dodgy knees as it is, bring him on in the second half.

I'd agree with that
I do like the balance of having a tricksy player on one side, and more of a goalscorer/striker type on the other
With the way we play, with Cole on his tod, we need the opposite winger from where the play is to be the player at the back post

To my mind, that makes it either J. Cole or Jarvis on one flank, and either Collison or RVT on the other. We saw that Collison on the right & RVT on the left works as well, in our promotion run in. But I remain to be convinced that J.Cole & Jarvis on opposite flanks is anything like our best option

Personally, I'd love to see J. Cole & RVT switching flanks, and Collison between them playing the Nolan role, in the 3 of a 4-2-3-1, but I doubt we'll see our captain sitting out many games
