West Ham Utd 0-1 Crystal Palace (19/04/14)
The proper thread-starters can bin this one off when they come in.
If we can bolt the first half performance against Liverpool to the first half performance against Arsenal then we're going to have Palace's pants down.
However, if we have the second half performances from those two matches combined we could see some boooooing.
Most likely we continue our relatively efficient recent home form and come away with a hard-fought and possibly tinny three points.

I am making my triumphant return to the Boleyn for this one so expect
A 2/3-0 defeat. It's inevitable.

I'd go unchanged here or maybe just one change with Vaz Te for Downing. It's gonna be very low scoring as Palace know how to defend.

However people are going to top up describing the 'Ultras', they're coming for a sing-song.
The Palace lads I know believe both that
(a) they are definitely safe if they get a point, and
(b) their team ups its game the louder they sing.
Yes, they're from a moody part of London (sort of). Yes, they've haven't got the history our proud club has, but this for them is a season that will live long in the memory, if they stay up. Their last proper stint in the top flight was in the late 60's.
So, for my local bragging rights, I hope we put half a dozen past them.

First match since the 6-0 drubbing to City, but stuck up in the heavens of the Alpari for it.
Will be a signifcant difference to watching us from Chav Corner week in week out.

I reckon this will be a cracker Saturday.
All of us will become one at the whistle to become United once more.
Think it will be open and fast.

I don't think we'll lose to Palace, they'll be hard to beat, but I don't think they'll be able to break down Reid and Tomkins.
Adrian
Demel-Reid-Tomkins-Armero
Noble-Nocerino
Jarvis-Nolan-Vaz Te
Carroll
Jussi, Roger, Chambers, Diame, Downing, Carlton, Joe

This will be my first time actually coming to a game in person since Bristol City away two years ago, so I'm hoping for a good one. 2-1, Nolan, Puncheon and a Reid header from a corner in the 93rd minute, half an hour of mayhem in the Boleyn after the game then head back to Paddington for the train home. Can't wait!

Need a win. I'm 50 on Friday. West Ham bloody owe me a top performance and 3 points for all the years of bleedin' suffered following them all over the shop....

This is typically one of those games that we could bottle and look like right mugs
Palace are on a roll and bloody up for it
Could be a cracking game with lots of atmosphere - that or we'll go one nil down and no one will bother getting behind the team
