UTJ - apologies to suggest a correction to the otherwise impeccable write ups that occur on KUMB but in my view it's inaccurate to say the mighty hammers beat them three times this season....

the mighty hammers beat them twice in the league whilst scoring five times without reply and the mighty hammers 2nd team did the damage in the third match in the cup......even playing diarra and maiga to give them a sporting chance

Just reminded me of the 3-0 league game at their place.
Articles like the one below are why I hate them so much, they and their fans always think they are so much better than us, and they never will be no matter how much money they have.

Anybody know if Dembele has a twitter account, would love to remind him of this comment.
Not such a small game now was it!!!!!

Great comment from Lilywhite.
"Gutless f*cking squids. Can't believe I spent a good fortune on going to that sh*thole today only for the team to fold from the first minute to the last. It was as bad as any other performance this season from the bunch of pussies.

Thanks to spurs.vitalfootball.co.uk, glory-glory.co.uk and spurscommunity.co.uk for the entertainment.

I must ask this question...please forgive my language...on a Sunday as well.....

"How the f*** are Spurs in 6th?"

They are one of the worst teams we've played all season.

Look at their results v the top teams, they have taken some right pastings this season. Reminds me of us under Redknapp.

[quote="arlhe"]Best home game of the season. We've had the odd decent performance but this one had the lot.

Fully agree, excellent day and one to truly remember, loved the lap of "appreciation" from the team really made a great end to a very trying season. :scarfer:

I had pondered the same Bubbles and it's perplexing to say the least. Some research found;

The top 6 sides have a superior passing success rate:shots per game:shots on target. It's a fine line too from between 7th and 9th.

Few teams (Swansea) below ninth are an exception to that equation due mostly to their average possession being higher because they pass it around without any real penetration.

Having said that they went on a 5 game unbeaten run after Sherwood was appointed in late December and their Jan/February wasn't too bad either whilst Manure's run in the corresponding period was indifferent, as was Southampton's. Beating both of those teams convincingly in the process.

Can't believe they've gifted us that name

Spuds has never done it for me, not offensive enough. The Y-word has now been ruled out by the Politically Correct.

Squids is perfect. A combination of Squealing and The Unmentionable Y-Word.

Thank you GFS, thank you for this beautiful gift. I'll cherish it forever.

This one made me laugh......

"Losing three times to a team as utter crap as West Ham takes some doing. Having spent 300-odd million to do it is surreal. Levy's getting us used to the near future when West Ham are a much bigger team than us

They really think they're a massive club that's the bit that makes me laugh most, they talk like they are as big as Manyoo, Madrid! You get the impression that they think there on a par with Le'Arse and well they ain't :?

Just watched the full game again courtesy of that link above and we really were brilliant.

Noble, Downing, Carroll, Taylor and Demel in particular. But really it's unfair to highlight those because everyone was so good.

Ironwerx. At work today, 'Squid' is going down well with WHU and Arsenal fans alike. Even better THFC supporters don't like the term
