Look at Spurs results v the top teams. Even more of a flat track bully than Arsenal.
Bale hasn't caused them to concede nearly 30 goals against the top teams.

All round good day out, although paying for 10 hours drinking today!
My only complaint was the lack of beer at half time. Running your stock levels down is one thing, but one beer between 3!!!!!!

STBL bar ****ed up big time, apparently had around 350 beers before the game. Ran out of all alcohol and then three cases of carlsberg turned up just as second half kicked off!RichieRiv wrote:All round good day out, although paying for 10 hours drinking today!

Re: West Ham v Tottenham Match thread
Did anyone else notice just how poor Tottenham were yesterday ?
None of their players seemed to want to run hard for their Manager whereas all of us fought hard for our Manager .
I am surprised they sold Bale - he would easily have gotten into their team yesterday .

Bristol I did not write that. You did. And we have established nothing. You have a PM in any case._fortunes_ wrote:[Would you like to quote where I have said they were all over us?
Now where is that "I apologise for making an arse of myself" icon. You could add it to the next post

I don't think they have been nearly hard enough on their team, Manager or Chairman .Up the Junction wrote:This week's opposition view ... enjoy:
We've played them three times this season and on each occasion they have been a bit worse than the time previous .

I did see plenty of that during my 'research' but it doesn't have much interest to our fans. Posts like this howeverthe pink palermo wrote:I don't think they have been nearly hard enough on their team, Manager or Chairman.
Always tend to go down wellWest Ham singing "You're just a sh*t team from Arsenal" as if Arsenal was an actual place. F*cking retards.

Fair point, but I still don't see why they sold Gareth Bale .I'm sure he could have made their starting line up yesterday or at the very least been an option from the benchUp the Junction wrote:

Re: West Ham v Tottenham Match thread
As Joyful predicted, the team and manager were up for yesterday. Pity it took until the last home game of the season to see something that resembled the West Ham we all surely want to pay and watch week in week out. I was very surprised just how poor Spurs were, only Eriksen looked a real danger. The Bale money has really been wasted and if he had any hair Levy would be pulling it out
The whole team played well, favourite moment was after the match and Adrian coming on in his hat and playing the matador with his flag. He was really enjoying himself along with his friends and family. Good to see a professional footballer showing genuine appreciation to the fans, he invariably is the only one who comes right across to the away end after a defeat. He's a top bloke and hope he is with us for many years to come.

Re: West Ham v Tottenham Match thread
Brilliant OV this week. No complaining from the Spurs fans about cheating or a lucky free kick, which is actually refreshing. They recognise that their team was utter **** and they've got their keeper to thank for the fact that they didn't take an utter pasting, because without Lloris it could easily have been 5 or 6.
Now wouldn't that have been nice?

I disagree - though it pains me to say so.Pompey C&B wrote: Is basically the answer
They're a great team - some great players, but it's seemingly impossible to replace Modric and Bale.
I don't think it's fair to describe them as average when they're looking to finish top six yet again, even if it isn't the top four that they spent all that cash for.
Yesterday was a great match - first match in yonks that I've just sat back and enjoyed it. We stomped all over them - even though both goals were lucky - firstly with Harry Kane doing his best to help us then with their wall doing the same.
Loris was the only Spuds player who did the business for them yesterday.

'**** Team from Arsenal' is a pony chant, just like when teams give it '**** Team from Millwall' to us.
Overall fantastic atmosphere though.

Best home game of the season. We've had the odd decent performance but this one had the lot.
Hard to pick one star from many on the day but perhaps Matty Taylor deserves the plaudits most. Him or the Spuds wall.

Chant of the day for me.
That and...
