What has happened to this game. Ipswich are selling tickets but nothing on the OS. I quite fancy a nice warm evening game within easy reach. Is it a first team game? Wos appenin'?

Tickets are on sale on http://www.whufcboxoffice.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Not sure why there has been no article on the OS, I think the same thing happened with the Stevenage game, no ticket news - they just went on sale!

Booked mine.
Not as local for me as my user name suggests, I moved back to London from Suffolk last year.
Always a good day/night out at Ipswich, the boozer opposite the station is welcoming for away fans, used to be called the Station Hotel but I think it's now called the Waterfront or Riverside or some other poncey name. But it is right opposite the station, has a big beer garden and is only 2 or 3 hundred yards from Portman Road.

Re: Pre season v Ipswich
As I understand it it is a first team fixture. I would expect to see a similar sort of game as v Colchester last pre-season with most of the squad getting a run out. £15 a pop is not too dear and just a nice relaxing night out to stave off the boredom of the close season. Last year we turned up in force at Colchester.slatfor wrote:I'd like to go as not to far to go but be interesting to know which sort of team is going ot be put out

Ain't this gonna be a bit awkward seeing as we've just nicked their best player by a mile?

Re: Pre season v Ipswich
This game is now less than a week away. I am surprised that we are not buzzing about the chance to see our new signings. Last year's equivalent game at Colchester was a great evening with our fans out in strength. I can't wait to see our new attacking style.

Just brought my ticket. Dead excited for this! Already looking forward to the new season. I'm sure that my hope & optimism will be crushed after 90 mins at Portman Road! :lol:
