I see, I thought it was as he left the pitch, did he do one?
Haven't seen anything from him on reports from the match.

you don't know me, I've seen more ***** at the Boleyn that I would ever care for in my life. I'm not giving them a bad name, maybe just maybe I'm sick to death of the ridiculous, made up conspiracy theory negative rubbish on here?OnePaulHilton wrote:Ozza I have tried my whole life to surround myself with positive people but you are giving them a bad name.
Losing credibility by never seeing a bad performance. There was not one positive to come out of that performance.
However I would like to know the branch of Specsavers you used for your rose tinted glasses as I'd like to know what it's like in your world.

We are all allowed our own opinions.
The end half of last season and this pre-season has been woeful. Nothings changed.
Is Sam going to suddenly play an attacking 442 against sampdoria?
Make subs that actually make sense and players in their right positions. Take any gambles with players that have flair?
We've had about 3 shots this pre-season
Says it all......

I thought the second half was much better than the first. But that's mainly because I recorded the game and watched most of the second half at double speed.

Pre season means nothing.
Look at Italy. They drew 0 0 with Ireland, drew 1 - 1 with Luxembourg before Brazil 2014.
And... OK got the point.

Re: Malaga CF v West Ham United: Match Thread
I was just disappointed that in neither game did we field anything approximating to a first team. What did we learn by fielding so many youngsters so close to the start of the season? I went to Ipswich and I saw pretty much what I saw over the weekend. My serious worry is where the goals are coming from and what point is there in playing Zarate up front on his own if we are not going to pass the ball to him?

Re: Malaga CF v West Ham United: Match Thread
Can't really comment on the game as didn't see it but I went to Ipswich and was literally bored to tears for 90mins. The Schalke game too, we had one shot on target, ok we won on penalties but Newcastle opened them up ok and ended up winning 3-1. So all the 'play attacking football against Schalke and we'll get trounced' cliches that we're doing the rounds on Saturday aren't really holding water imo.
The thing is, I thought these games were about experimenting with different methods, tactics, formations and players etc. From what I've seen it's just a continuation of what we were playing last season. I think this is what the majority of people are unhappy about. Same old ****.
It amazing but I've gone from being genuinely positive about the new season to feeling quite depressed and slightly regretting renewing my ST. Worth pointing out that a number of factors have contributed to this though, not just Allardyce.

Nothing has changed,
Nothing is new,
We are a carbon copy of last season with the same failings.
The attacking part of our game is thoroughly predictable, totally ineffective and unacceptable for a paying public.
I don't care a jot about results during the pre season........ what I was looking for was a definite change in approach. I haven't seen any, just more of the same.
Sheringham out !!

Malaga had 16 shots to our 2 btw.
Add that to our 3 shots against Schalke:
5 shots in 120 minutes of football played (2 on target)
