Just watched the penalties again on the BBC. Goosebumps. Was still convinced Jenkinson would miss. Didn't realise how poor Cresswell's was!

Am I right in thinking our last win on Merseyside was back in 1983 ?!?
I was in the Gladwys Street End when Walford ****ed a winner. I can't believe it's been over 30 years - someone please tell me I'm wrong.
edit: didn't realise 'f l u k e' gets the **** treatment.

Noon we've who at Goodison a few times since then.
I remember Zamora scoring in a win (2006?) and Tim Breaker scoring with a diving header on a NYD off the top of my head..

Oh joy! Not a particularly enlightened lot on there. 'School of Science' you say? More like special needs.Hampshire Hammer wrote: https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/thre ... 015.72436/

I definitely remember winning there in a night game in the white shirt, if I remember right he rounded the GK and scored.Doc H Ball wrote:

So, 1983 Walford, 1993 Breaker and 2005 Zamora. 3 wins at Everton in 30 years and none at Liverpool for 50. Thin pickings.
I seem to remember Ward clipping the bar in the last minute in a 0:0 at Anfield, but again it may just be my imagination.
Roll on 31/1. I'd lose a bollock for a win up there.

Re: West Ham Utd v Everton: match thread (FA Cup 3R Replay)
Hi folks.
Its been 10 years since my last west ham game due to moving back to ireland and a mixture of financial reasons and having to work weekends as a taxi mean i cant go as much as id like to, but thats life.
Anyway, i did well over the xmas and managed to save a few quid this year, so i targeted an fa cup replay as a possible trip. I watched the 1st game in a pub last week in a pub and was delighted ginge put us ahead, but it had me thinking if everton equalized, i can go to the replay. Well it happened, and i set the wheels in motion for my dream trip.
Flights and hotel in Ilford booked on the morning after the away game. Tickets booked saturday morning.
I was so excited and it was my girlfriends 1st game. She is a sports fan and a regular at gaa games, but she never understood my passion for west ham. She does now.
We arrived on london city airport at midday and went straight to the boleyn to pick up tickets. I turned around with our tickets in my hand grinning like a cheshire cat, when who was standing 5ft away only Ginge Collins. He shook our hands and allowed us to take photos. He was a pure gentleman and spoke about the game like he had all the time in the world. No rush whatsoever. After, we went into the stadium shop to buy some hammers gear, but i was kinda in shock after meeting ginge and came out with nothing. My girlfriend was so impressed she bought the 86 strip. Back to hotel, changed and straight back to the queens. Loved the atmosphere. It was so close knit and friendly. We had so many ups and downs during the game. What a match. What a match to pick? We were in bobby moore lower behind the goals just above the crossbar. Class view, class atmosphere, thrilling match.
We had a few in the boleyn pub afterwards where the singing continued. Hammers were hugging us, kissing us. Im still lost for words about our whole experience. Its so so true what they say about west ham being just one big family. My girlfriend didnt understand west ham until now. Shes even asking what time the hull game is on. No gaa game is like west ham.
The following day we went back to the boleyn. I got my west ham gear. I got my pics with bobby statue and went up to the flats in boleyn road where i lived the 1st two years of my life. The hairs stood on the back of neck.
Im now back in ireland, but my head is still in east london. Im buzzing still. I probably wont be able to go again this year, and im kinda thinking that could have been my last boleyn game, but what a trip and what a way to say goodbye.
Thank you West Ham and thanks to my West Ham family.

What a warming post djbubbles.
Some people on here call the place a ****hole, but I love it and don't feel closer to anywhere else in the world.
Long live the Boleyn!

Re: West Ham Utd v Everton: match thread (FA Cup 3R Replay)
Bellamy hit the post in a 0-0 there under Zola, and Carlton or Collison had a golden chance at the very end in the 0-0 there a couple of years back.
Funny, we had some good spells and decent chances in the 4-1 that was never a 4-1 on the balance of play last year.
