What's most galling is that it's obvious why he does it: it's all simply mind games to get officials to give Chelsea decisions. And yet nobody in the press corps has the balls to call him on it. Our referees get a lot of stick, but our football writers show far worse symptoms of being "bought and paid for."[/quote]
It's exactly what used to happen in the red faced era at Manure. To have the balls to call him out will most probably result in you or your paper/TV show/radio show being banished from any future press conferences or interviews. Remember the red faced one not doing post-match interviews with MOTD?

Re: West Ham Utd v Chelsea: match thread
Great game. Great atmo in the north end of the East stand.
I really enjoyed.
Just the biased refereeing and biased TV highlights made me angry. But on the end of the day, who cares? I know what I saw and I left the ground well satisfied with the feeling that West Ham still is special in many ways. Mainly the atmo made me really happy. And that Zouma song was better than Hazards goal...

I like Ben Shepherd. Always keen to point out his West Ham allegiance.wizzo_66 wrote:Ben Shephard called Jose out.
No one in the media backed him up.

Ferguson used to do the same, Wenger still does.
The behaviour of the managers mimics the behaviour of the players at these awful clubs. They're what are driving the old timer football fans away and encouraging the newbie glory hunting plastics to join the soap opera.
Allardyce gets a lot of stick, particularly from me, but I can't question his integrity when it comes to cheating and have a lot of respect for him for it.
