Manchester City 2-0 West Ham Utd (19/04/15)
K.O 13.30 hours Sunday 19th April
City of Manchester Stadium AKA The Blue Camp .
Last time we were there we saw the citizens win the Barclays Premier League title , and it was very nearly the day I packed it all in, devastated to see a club that in truth has traditionally been among our peers transformed by a deluge of cash . I walked out long before they picked up the trophy .
However, with an ageing squad , averaging 29 years plus they look to have peaked , and while they ought to have enough in the tank to see off our Baywatch allstars , stranger things have happened .
The added twist for the Managers is defeat for either could mark the end of their time at their clubs but I'm backing Pelligrini to outlast Sam .
As for a side , well, we'll be back to one up top I would think , maybe a start for Carlton and they'll start with Aguerro .
Says it all .

Seeing Citeh get tonked by ManU and on a poor run of form you'd think this was the ideal time to play them: in fact it probably is.
3-0 to Citeh, maybe more

When Plan 'A', trying to hold them to a 0-0 go's out the window after about 15 minutes, it will just be a question of how many. I think it will be 6. Personally, I wouldn't cross the street to go to watch this match

Right now it looks like anyone can beat Man City, which is why we will get absolutely smashed by them!!!
Forget keeping the faith, supporting West Ham is all about acceptance

No reds, no yellows, no backchat, no injuries.
We're going to get something here.
It's the West Ham way.

Its hard to see us grab anything here!
Fair play to the optimists that have not been worn down yet.
Mind you, we do seem to be able to put in a shift sometimes against the top 4 or 5 teams.

Re: Manchester City Vs West Ham United match thread
Our front line for this will be a combination of Valencia , Cole, Nene and Nolan .Seven league goals between them this season .
Our only hope of a goal is if Kompany puts it through his own net or Hart has a return to his usual form .

We've got a result in 5 of our last 9 matches, we've only lost 1 of our last 3. I think we'll draw again.Paddy O'Hammer wrote: Fair play to the optimists that have not been worn down yet.

Cole + Valencia is usable.
Man City ain't Stoke or Palace.
They believe they have better players than us (they do) so there will be no defensive game plan and they will give space and opportunity for our boys.

Ah yes, walking away last year realising it would never be us...
f*** it, I had a good time anyway. The Waldorf, old fash Citeh fans and a don't give a f*** attitude helps.
Staying over for this one so neurofen at the ready.
Valenica and Nene up top please - but Nene a chance...

I predict less than 3 shots all game and less possession than this week.
Last years surrender up there was one of Sam's worst showings. We didn't leave our own half.

Likely to be the end of the positive goal difference

4-1 to us. Sam gets offered a new contract straight after the game and signs it for another 2 years.

Re: Manchester City Vs West Ham United match thread
Slept through our victory against them in October, as my son was born about six hours before kick off and everyone needed sleep by then. I'll always remember that scoreline for that very reason.
Would like to see us get something here because I'd actually like to....see it. Feeling doubtful though.
