A real test for Sams "clean sheet" mantra because Sherwood has got them scoring , would be pleased if we created half as many chances as we did on Sat ( as long as our conversion rate improved) .
Will be in Witton beginning the anaesthetic from 1130

I think that has more to do with a fully fit Benteke being available again as opposed to the football genius that is Tim Sherwood.cockney farmer wrote:Sherwood has got them scoring
If Collins can kick Benteke out of the game and not lose a header to him (or allow him a free one in the box) it will be 0-0. I really do not expect anything of any note to come from our lot in this one sadly so everything points to a Villa win.
I think Villa really need one more win before they can kick back and think about the cup final... this game will surely be the ideal chance for them to produce it.

Went to the Villa Everton game on Saturday with my Everton mate. The place was bouncing and the Villa players were well up for it! We need a decent performance to go away with anything! Made me look forward to this Saturday though it was a good atmosphere! COYI!!!

I hope Reid is back for Benteke. I love the fact that Burke has been playing and we've had two clean sheets, but I would hate to see his confidence damaged. I think we'll lose because Villa are scoring and still not out of trouble...they will fight for it.
3-1.
3-1.

We will definitely lose this. We've looked pretty poor this year, especially away from home.
It would be nice to see Reece Burke play and get another clean sheet though.

Of their remaining games this is their must win, Southampton away is a tough game and burnley is before the FA cup final So players don't want to get banned or pick up an injury.
This could play into our hands but won't, I am still craving a positive goal difference.
2-1 villa

I predict a cracking match .
Will we see Burke get the nod for his third consecutives start ? I hope so .
Will we see Song benched again ? I hope so .
Will we get to see Nene get a start ? I hope so .
It's the day we hit the 50 point target .
