West Ham Utd 1-2 Everton: match thread (16/05/15)

Post by Up the Junction »

20 more Premier League matches to go at the Boleyn.

Win 7-0 and we reach Allardyce's pre-season target of 50 points and 50 goals...

2-0 Everton which will set us up nicely for a bottom half finish and a negative goal difference :fsake:

No chance of getting any points from this match. With Kevin Nolan orchestrating sod all in our midfield and with Mark Noble influencing nothing but conceding free kicks around our box for Baines and co, we will get what we always get from this lot

They were superb against Sunderland, had everything except the finishing - supposedly the same as us if you believe Allardyce. 2-1 Everton.

I can see the lads being up for this one giving us all a grandstand finish to the season - give Enner Valencia a free role , allow him to shoot on sight - tell the lads just to enjoy themselves and let them play football , but no Rough Stuff , Boys !

West Ham United 3 Everton 2 .

I expect a complete repeat of the Villa game except a 0-0 and less possession.

One thing I'm certain of, West Ham United - nil.

The most bizarre game of football ever witnessed as two teams attempt to play attacking non contact football in order to score fair play points rather than goals.

Or, Everton think f*ck that I'm not going through all that again next season and with 6 read cards in 19 seconds we go home with a 3-0 forfeiture.

It makes me laugh just how inevitable that truly is.

The replay in the FA Cup goes down for me as our match of the season. Sure, we had to win it on penalties, but, in terms of the excitement and energy of that match, very little beats it.

Normal service resumeth this weekend.

They always seem to do us at home in the league, even when we're playing well.

I thought it would be nice to go down Memory Lane once more , you know ... like at the beginning of this season - we hit 3 quite a few times , in fact 3 times in our first 8 games .

I thought the same about Benteke last weekend.

I believe a point guarantees us 10th spot.

I think Sam will go out to win this to get the 50 points and reach one of his targets.

If we had been the slightest bit efficient against Burnley we would have had a chance at the 50 goals too.

I can see Everton scoring early, continuing to attack, our players getting frustrated and conceding sloppy free kicks, getting a few bookings and ending our European hopes.

Alternatively it can go the other way in our favour and Everton start on the back foot, get a few bookings for sloppy challenges and effectively send us into Europe.

What i'm trying to say is, i have no idea how this game will go.
