That's not a motivation for anyone on the pitch yesterday.
They get a share in their bonuses .

That's the problem when you get £40k a week .What use is another £5k ?

All from one of the worst free kick routines ever seen in the prem.

What was Cresswell playing at?

As i have been saying for donkeys...We are the worst team in this league.

2-0 to them makes us look better than we were...should have been double that.

Where are all the pig headed arrogant fans now ????

I'd allow for a suggestion that we've looked poor for some time, but can't agree that we are worse than QPR, Hull or even Sunderland.

The reality, however, is that with 2-3 months of planning ahead, recently-promoted and just-surviving teams are going to look at our matches with them as ones in which they must achieve some points.

And what they'd see on careful review is a team that now seems incapable of raising itself and dealing with going a goal behind. Such a contrast to the first half of the season.

Why do you speak to people on the internet differently to how you would in a pub ?

Everyone knows why....and what people like you are.

This site is for fans opinions, I've put mine and in a far nicer way than you just did.

Thank You

The worst thing about yesterday was the stat of 4 attempts 1 on target that is a disgrace.90 mins against one of the worst teams in the league under huge pressure and we can only force the keeper to make one f ucking save there was no attacking intent whatsoever on our part and not for the first time this season. :thdn:

How would you send a team out against Newcastle ?

Get right at them....or respect the point.

What would you do when you went 1-0 down ?

Change your centreback....and bring your striker off

But apparently we are expecting too much...and its the only way we can stay up :asleep:

I would have sent them out to press high and close them down fast pressure them on the ball make them panic and not want the ball in fear of making mistake because they were under huge pressure.I would have played 4-4-2 Valencia upfront with Cole and started Almifitano instead of Nolan.I would have said go for it and play with freedom and no fear attack attack attack and give our travelling fans a display worth watching.

I would have chucked on Nene for Nolan at that point.

That sub a centreback for a centreback who wasn't injured and at the time we were losing has to go down as the worst sub I have ever seen from a whu manager truly baffling :eh:

Burke being subbed was baffling, Nolan not wanting to score against his old club would have got him subbed.............but all that aside, we have got one hell of a keeper, that was an incredible save and one that clearly should embarrass the opposition...... build from the back for the start of next season, quality goal keeper ,4 good centre back all ready in place, the rest we will have to await to see who stays go's
Brilliant weekender up north and now bring on Europa
That save though I mean, worth the 700+ mile drive on its own, see you all at heathrow
