Payet has to be registered or else his ban isn't served (as Celtic found out to their benefit last season).DDHammer wrote: Sakho got a 3 game ban. Payet would be 1 but don't think he'll be registered until the next round?
Are we sure that Sakho is 3 games? Don't UEFA give a 1 game ban for everything then decide afterwards it is gets extended?

Anyone know who parked the white Maserati cabrio on the yellow lines in Castle Street before the game?
Not really asking for trouble were they!

Re: West Ham Utd v Birkirkara (1st leg): match thread
I did think last night whether it would have been better to have played the slightly more match fit youth team again rather than the rather 'unfit' first team squad. Lee definitely looked lively when he came on and gave more of a strikers' performance than Zarate and Maiga combined.
As for Nolan, I give him a clean slate every week. I give him credit when he plays well, evidence of which can be found on this very forum, I do this for every player. However, I don't subscribe to the overly complimentary description of him, someone even said he was Man of the Match on this thread!
Can we not just call a spade a spade any more without a fanboy jumping on you for daring to say that not every West Ham player was great?
As I've said, three players stood out as our poorest last night; Noble (who I'm a big fan of), Nolan and O'Brien. Equally I thought Jarvis had a brilliant game and was my MOTM, not sure why he gets all the stick to be honest.
