This Tues 7.45

Need to buy on the day now but looks like there will be no trouble getting a ticket

Update at 4pm, Friday 17 July

Remaining tickets for this fixture can now be purchased directly through Colchester United via colutickets.com.

Additional seats have been made available in the Roman Cars (North) Stand, and once these have been sold the Jobserve (East) Stand will open for away supporters.

I'm guessing there won't be many first teamers for this considering we have the return leg of the Birkirkara game two days later?

Doesn't seem much interest on this one about, any ideas on squad for it?
I would guess similar to Southend, looking forward to seeing Payet at least!

He said he wanted to play as many games as possible to get sharp, so good chance he might play an hour again. Would be good to work on his understanding with Diafra.

Probably because we play the same dull fixtures year on year. Granted we have Charlton this year but come on there are loads of teams in close proximity to WHU. Dagenham, Orient, Wimbledon, Brentford, Crawley, Barnet list goes on and on, but still we play Colchester & Southend every year.

Does seem to have been kept quite low key this one. I worked a day working in the area so i could go to the game afterwards. Hopefully see a decent line up, there is still plenty outside of the likely europa participants that need match time

we'll have to take a strong squad to make sure the job gets done over in malta. reckon bilic would've wanted to keep the first team here while sending the kids on a school trip, but a 1-0 lead doesn't afford that.

Sakho was only suspended for the first leg, wasn't he? If he is eligible for the return, I can't see him being left behind.

There's a car park that's about a 5 min walk from the stadium which I've always used when going to Colchester

Re parking - as mentioned a few industrial units about but don't park in roads or bridge directly around ground as they are a bit busy with parking tickets round there!
