Should be a good game Leicester could have had a cricket score yesterday though their defending didn't look to sharp at times.

Top of the table clash. Title six pointer.
Must win. We lose and Palace take the easy three points from Arsenal, we'll put ourselves in a tight spot.

There's a big selection dilemma here. With Jenkinson back, out of Tomkins, Ogbonna or Reid do you pick for the two slots at CB? Or would you keep Tomkins at RB? Someone won't be happy next Saturday, about time we had this choice in defence

The DL Match thread bump continues: 4-2 to us.
I'm warming to Mauro and feel that he could have another part to play next week.

That is a really difficult choice as Tomkins played a blinder and it's not his fault he was the most capable of the three of playing right back - that's a plus point!hammers92 wrote:There's a big selection dilemma here. I'd personally go for Tomkins and Reid. Obgonna was solid but seemed inclined to hit the line a lot where as Tomkins will look to play a pass into midfield or to the full back.
Tough choice though. Jenks has to come in though. Need that balance and attack from full back in home games.

Absolutely buzzing to be a season ticket holder for the first time in about 13 or 14 years.
Jenkinson in for Tomkins. Only change for me. Hopefully Obiang makes it onto the bench.
Zarate, Payet, Sakho, 3-1 West Ham.

Were Leicester actually decent in their game yesterday or were Sunderland just abysmal?

Sunderland were awful IMO and I watched it.WorcesterWHU wrote:Were Leicester actually decent in their game yesterday or were Sunderland just abysmal?
I don't think Leicester are that great personally and I see it as a very winnable game.

I'd be inclined to play the exact same team.
Thought Tonks did a colossal job at RB.

It's going to be a tricky one deciding who will need to miss out for this after yesterday if Bilic decides to bring Jenkinson back in to the fold.
Re: West ham United v Leicester City: Match Thread
Dont know if he will bring jenkinson in just like that as he has only had a couple games in pre season but if he does has to be for tomkins
Ogbonna and Reid were class together.

In the first 6 games thread, I correctly said we'd beat arsenal. Unfortunately, if I continue being correct then we'll draw against these and lose against Bournemouth!

Re: West ham United v Leicester City: Match Thread
Trouble is Tomkins was a good fit for the Arsenal game, but at home to Leicester he ain't going to give us what we need going forward, therefore would have to pick Jenks, and Bilic will have to perm 2 from 3 at centre back.Aztec Hammer wrote:I'd be inclined to play the exact same team.
