FAC3: West Ham Utd 1-0 Wolves (09/01/16)

Post by -DL- »

Saturday 9th Jan.

KO: 3:00

A famous old club coming to a famous old ground for the last time.

Always liked Wolves for some reason.

I expect it to be a tough game, but at the same time expect us to edge it in what will be a well fought match from both sides.

Is Samuelsen back from loan? Would like to see him get some game time!

Sold out, isn't it? Might be the last ever cup tie at the Boleyn. :o

I'd expect Moses, Reid, Jenkinson, Obiang, Song and Zarate all to be in the starting XI, with Slaven balancing things off around them, and with a strong bench. Bournemouth just three days later.

Looking forward to this, got tickets and will be my first game since the home draw to FC Astra back in August.

Would be good to see Oxford and Cullen get run outs at some stage, apart from that we should play a full strength team and really try and win the Cup.

Play the strongest possible 11 and go for it, the kids and fringe players can come on if we're comfortable or if things need mixing up but this is a chance to win a trophy and you don't get a trophy or an open top bus parade for a top 6 finish but you do if you win a trophy.

Just had a call from my pal Barry Fry at Peterbo'gh telling me that Martin Samuelsen beat 7 (he exaggerates) players to score the winner. dg

Had practically our A team at Leicester.

Yes we want to progress but it would also be a good moment to rotate.
Players like Tomkins, Noble, Kouyate, Antonio and even Carroll would benefit from a break.

Adrian

Jenkinson Ginge Reid Cresswell

Song Obiang Oxford

Zarate Enner

Jelavic
