Football is a simple game. Passing the ball to the opposition doesn't help you keep clean sheets.bubbles1966 wrote: It's a bit more complicated than is sometimes portrayed.

We went from September to December without a clean sheet. Obviously, some of the qualities and attributes needed for this simple game must have been missing.miles wrote:Football is a simple game. Passing the ball to the opposition doesn't help you keep clean sheets.

We shipped a massive amount of goals from individual errors. Getting the team to keep their concentration and dropping a woefully out of form Jenkinson has reversed this.Burnley Hammer wrote:Surely no single player can make the difference between shipping goals in left right and centre, and keeping a string of clean sheets? I would say it was a case of early season naivety from Bilic, which he's since learnt from.

We did break them down. We won 1-0. You're allowed to win 1-0 ya know. The Head of Brooking wrote:Yeah, but we have to be able to break down sides who look to get 10 men behind the ball. Too slow yesterday and no movement up front.

It's all good and well saying let's give Song some time but he's only here on a season long loan and we're halfway through the season.

Happy with the win, just concerned that we only made one clear cut chance. Not enough movement in either the midfield or up front.

It was always going to be hard to play against a side holding out for a draw with half of our team made up of reserves and not yet fit 1st teamers. The Head of Brooking wrote:
