I could watch the last 30 minutes over and over again.
It's beautiful. Poetry in Motion.
As for our loan boy - Emenike scored two, had two disallowed, hit the post and put another wide when offside - all in the space of thirty minutes

Good job you don't work on the adjudication panelfjthegrey wrote:Kouyate deserved a red card. The bloke was clean through, nobody was covering, he definitely clipped him even if it was accidental and it was inconclusive whether or not Randy would have got their first or not in real time (he probably would have but it definitely wasn't cut and dry).
Other way round I'd be baying for a red.

Owner of this wallet has been contacted, and considering what was in it, I imagine he is having a much better nights sleep than he had for the last 2 nights.ageing hammer wrote: "We've got wallet":

In the heat of the match I would definitely have awarded a free kick and yellow card, maybe even a red card - but it's hard to say without being in the ref's shoes (or glasses is perhaps more appropriate).RichieRiv wrote:Good job you don't work on the adjudication panel
If it was the other way around, a Blackburn defender tripping Emenike, I'd have been hoping for a red card, but after the benefit of seeing a replay I would have accepted less and maybe have even grumbled and accepted nothing - but my first instinct would have been to call for a red card.
On the other incident, Match of the Day pundits opined that the Blackburn player probably shouldn't have been sent off on the basis that they believed the first yellow was too harsh.
Credit to the Sky commentators for noting that it was his second or third shove in the back of an attacking player in that move in the space of a few seconds - the ref indicated as much when booking the player.

Didn't he spoon a sitter over the bar from 10 yards too?bubbles1966 wrote:I could watch the last 30 minutes over and over again.

Re: Blackburn Rovers V West Ham United Match thread
I felt sad to see a once great club being embarrassed by the football and the lack of support. A lt of their fans were decent and I am not so sure how many of us every clap the opposition fans. Equally, it is a long time since We have ever applauded an opposition goal even though I consider us as a pretty sporting lot...if a bit cruel, in a witty way ....""he's going to cry in a minute" for example. So I got a good impression of those who did turn up .
On the other hand My sadness was dispelled by the quality of our football as we filleted them and gave them an old fashioned thrashing. One of the great , memorable days out! Let's hope for another very shortly!

Watched this game on ESPN view whilst away on holiday. -just back.
This was one of those great West Ham away days that will be remembered for many many years.
Well done to all who made it. The team, the manager, the club, and of course, saving the best to last, the travelling fans.

I heard that David Gold came on the pitch after the game. Is there any chance anybody took some photos of this?

Ew. I truly hope he didn't. I can understand him being really happy, but that's taking it a bit too far.sjb958 wrote:I heard that David Gold came on the pitch after the game.
