What a game, wish I was there.

Win this and go to Wembley? Oh, go on then.

But make no mistake, Man Utd have woken up.

Absolutely no reason why we can't go there and turn them over. In fact , even without my claret and blue glasses, I would make us favourites. 8-)

Am so up for this one! And feeling quite positive. Although today was the most negative I've felt about a game in ages, so pay no attention to how I'm feeling.

If it helps, in the Blackburn thread I said the last time I went to Ewood we lost 7-1 and had potatoes thrown at our coach. In the match thread today I said the last time I was at Goodison we lost 5-0.

The last time I was at Old Trafford we lost 7-1 again.

Hold on, they were all in the league. The last time I was at Old Trafford was actually Di Canio mugging off Barthez and not finding my voice for a week... in the FA Cup! Thank me later.

I want us to have a compliment of defenders rather than shoehorning midfielders in there. If any of our defenders can return, and we can play with a normal backline, ill be satisfied that we can turn them over!

I don't think I've ever been so excited to attend a game than I am this weekend.

Is Reid back?

Not even going to guess the line up. Bilic will have an XI out there that can win the game.

Can't ****ing wait. :scarfer:

I hope we have some defenders fit...I'd be tempted to bring in Sakho and Carroll for Lanzini and Eminike.

I may need someone in the front row of the upper tier to take a flag if it's made in time

Man Utd play Europa League ties on the Thursday before and after our match on Sunday, against Liverpool no less.

They also play City away after after the 2nd leg Europa tie.

My point is our tie couldnt be placed in a more opportune moment.

Considering the Europa league offers a CL spot, and is against their bitter rivals, and considering the next PL game for them (following tmr) is a direct rival for 4th in Man City, they might just target our game as the least important and possibly rest some of their regular starters.

We have a real chance here.

LVG will be having sleepless nights about our attacking options.

I can see a 5-5 unless we improve defensively. Today we looked poor. Obviously injuries have hampered us. Hopefully Reid will be back.

This is good!

After the last few matches we have been though....away to a team like Man U - at their place.... is just what we need to stay on our toes, stay focussed and get stuck in!

I'd say we could have had a head problem focussing if we were up against Reading next....or Palace!

Hoping for a tight game on Thursday between Liv and Man Utd so Man Utd have to keep an eye on the return leg

Who's the guy in here who keeps saying he feels uneasy before games, and we keep winning the games he is uneasy about.

How are you feeling about this one?!
