There is so much wrong with the article that it would take another to put it right.
Is Paul Walker a West Ham fan (not accusing, just wondering)?

Certainly seems to be a Mark Clattenburg fan (a rare breed in these parts).
Re: West Ham Utd v Crystal Palace: match thread
From Clattenburg's point of view it would absolutely look a stonewall red card. There is a camera angle of the challenge from the Bobby Moore stand and it looked really bad. I actually agree with a lot of Paul Walker's article, even though I am one of very few evidentially.

Re: West Ham Utd v Crystal Palace: match thread
The positives are that we got back into the game after going one down, and very quickly.
Lanzini is ours permanently and showed his quality again. Ditto Kouyate who has just signed a long-term contract.
In the past we would have been happy with the result, if not the manner. It is a good sign that we are ambitious enough to feel disappointed with the point.
There is another thread for refereeing incompetence, but it goes without saying that it changed the game.

The second half is a group of segments.hammer1975 wrote:In isolation the 2nd goal was a defensive e error but that misses the point a little - we were absolutely chaotic for the 8 minutes or so between the red card and the goal - it was absolutely coming
In the first five they press, get some decent crosses in, we cope.
Then we have ten where we re-establish control.
Problem is that is followed by five that culminate in Kouyate's sending off, but is preceded by two terrible back passes by Kouyate and Antonio.
After the sending off they pile forward and score, and it's only Obiang's introduction that seems to alter things.
Then, with 10 men and ten to go, we start to work the ball better and threaten again.

back in norway again after a few brilliant days in London.
Was weird walking away from the stadium for the very last time, and i will definently miss the place!
Would have loved to have seen a win in my last game, but i had a sinking feeling the moment i realized who the ref was...
