West Ham Utd 2-2 Crystal Palace (02/04/16)
A little break before our next outing. Three points a must if we're to continue our charge for Europe!

Been a nightmare playing them at the Boleyn recently. We need to come out and just demolish them.
Another win. Another 3 points closer.

5-0, Antonio Hat Trick, we all laugh that Zaha somehow has an England cap.
Wait. They have Adebayor. 0-1, Adebayor winner. Nailed on.

Re: West Ham Utd v Crystal Palace: match thread
let's hope Payet is fit for this one and doesn't pick up a knock playing for France
Re: West Ham Utd v Crystal Palace: match thread
Their midfield simply can't keep possession. They have pretty bad stats for it. Their main threat as will all know will be counter attacks with Bolasie and Zaha. Really confident about 3 points here. Would even recommend starting Carroll as we'll dominate the possession and be closer to their goal at all times.

Motivating the players for this one should not be a problem, it is not an end of season dead rubber. Tell the players they can make history by continuing the excellent run and get into Champions League at OS. Start fast , get the crowd going. Look at Spuds start yesterday, out of the blocks and game over in 15 minutes.

Exactly, and should have added this to my post, at this point the stake is self explanatory? Does Bilic even need to motivate them when we're sat one point shy of 4th place Citeh. I reckon this game could define how the last run of games will be played, in terms of spirit at least.Brendan wrote:Motivating the players for this one should not be a problem, it is not an end of season dead rubber. Dunno whats come over me but I sense a smashing.
Pards will leave with a wry smile on his chops after we've ripped him a newun.
I'm never usually so positive but I feel something brewing.

Re: West Ham Utd v Crystal Palace: match thread
I said in another match thread that with the way we've been playing all season coupled with a few decisions going our way, we're due to tear somebody a new one sooner or later. Now although I've got a soft spot for Palace (dons tin hat awaiting response from certain posters!) through my Mum's side, I wouldn't be too sorry if it was against them.
Let's be honest, we can't have Pards getting one over us, can we.
4-0 at least. With a possible hat-trick from someone. (There, I've said it)!

First game in a while that I've thought we really are gonna smash someone. They're appalling and only getting worse.
Re: West Ham Utd v Crystal Palace: match thread
I really want to see Carroll and Sakho start up top with one another.

Before people start predicting routs just remember two things: Adebayor and Pardew.
