The last game ever at the Boleyn ... except it isn't now.
3:00pm, May 7, Boleyn Ground.

Same starting XI as against West Brom. At them from the whistle.
Last Saturday at the Boleyn. Have to say it out loud to believe it.

If we win this game we'll go two points behind City who play Arsenal at home on the Sunday with them knowing we have a game in hand. Today they're losing 4-1 to Southampton. It's now on

Big Andy's bunnies. We will fill our boots against this lot. Really think we will see a 5-0 here
Re: West Ham Utd vs Swansea: match thread
My first game at the Boleyn was against Swansea in the late 1970's sitting with my Dad (RIP) in the West Upper. It was a fitting tribute to me personally that my last game would be sitting with my kids against Swansea in the West Upper. Its still on, but of course we got Man U a few days later.
I would love a carnival type atmosphere for this game, like the Noble testimonial. Reckon we'll do this 3-1.

Big Andy MUST start this game. They can't handle him. He always saves his best performances vs Swansea. Wouldn't mind Sakho being dropped to the bench for this one.

Re: West Ham Utd vs Swansea: match thread
Win this and the City v Arsenal becomes the biggest game of the season for us. Who would have thought this a year ago.
Re: West Ham Utd vs Swansea: match thread
Maybe. I know that I'm going to get abuse for this on the back of 2 good results, but I'm not sure if we're quite right when Andy and Sakho play together. I'd prefer Byram in and Antonio to play further forward personally.Rocketron wrote: No need to drop anyone.

Sure to be the same starting XI barring injuries.
Yes, they beat a reserve Scouse today, but they were absolutely woeful at Newcastle (0-3) and Leicester (0-4) in the two weeks before

Officially confirmed safety today. They aren't going to give two sh*ts next week.

Would be happy with 1-0 and the winner off Antonio's backside in the 89th minute

Our lads are still well tuned into the zone - it's a testament to the way Bilic has brought them together and managed them, that we have seen the best football for many years. Last Saturday game at the old girl...nothing but a victory...3-0.

Re: West Ham Utd vs Swansea: match thread
They were. Can't remember which but didn't one of them come on as a second half sub? If only Sakho was the exact same player as back then.mumbles87 wrote:The big man always plays well against this lot. Never forget the year bony scored first and we won 3-1.. Andy and sakho were fantastic together that day
Can't predict a score - just need to get over the line in this one and see if Man City can respond. I think we'll put pressure on them.

Re: West Ham Utd vs Swansea: match thread
3-0, Carroll, Payet and Noble.
Arsenal will beat Man City to set up a massive last fixture at the Boleyn.
We'll beat Manchester United via a string of terrible decisions from the officials to gain some justice for all the ones against us this season.
We'll be sitting fourth with one game to go and with it all in our own hands.
I still believe, it's written in the stars. The season of all seasons to end our legacy at the Boleyn.
Knowing West Ham, Liverpool and Man City will then go on to win both European cups and we'll have to settle for Europa anyway.
