I know it's a friendly, but this ref has been shocking. Still, that's another thing to get used to again for next season I suppose.

Our ability to pass the ball only lasted 45 mins as did the last match. Still.... it's only a friendly. I'll judge after a competitive match.

Yes, been impressed with him over those two games. Quina as well.

That's true and last year wasn't very good either, I don't think . Pre season is, so I'm told, all about getting the squad fit, trying out new systems and formations, but I am not sure how any of that compensates for trying to find a remedy for our old failings like giving the ball away. I would have thought that would be quite an easy falling to rectify

We missed a player with a brain , Ferghouli was the best on offer and just needs game time.Tоre also lacked sharpness and does not take a knock too well but he has class as seen in one or two brief moments.

Can see us being outsiders for relegation contenders if we don't improve dramatically.

We need to strengthen tenfold.

Eight days to get the fitness up looks a tall order for many- I hope the American "showcase" was worth it, because without Ogbonna, Collins,Payet,Lanzini,Sakho and doubts over Valencia,Reid and Carroll , I really cannot see the rest having enough to win in Europe.

It might sound dramatic but we do have really weak squad atm and the morale seems pretty low.

Add into that a European campaign and I can see some serious issues this season.

Yeah I agree, it's the worst morale we've had in the entire history of the world and Jesus

Bilic was limping again, as per yesterday.
Have I missed comments/explanations about his limp?

He's testing the new Ann Summers contraception range for the Daves.

You put a pebble in your shoe and it guarantees to make you limp.
