Didn't he only report back today? If so, it would be foolish to play him even if he were registered, despite how important this game is.

I agree. Was just pointing out as a few people had commented on whether we should stick him on the bench.

Some reports have him back today, others on Friday. Not sure which are correct.

I think if he was back in training today the club would have put stuff out on social media. "Look who's back!"

Has anyone heard if the teams are having any training sessions at the stadium?

Blimey, sounds like I got in just in time! Right up in the gods (but near the halfway line). For a tenner, it was rude not to :scarfer:

If you compare the 54000 to the Intertoto Cup tie against Heerenveen, which was watched by just 7,485 in 1999.

Given the allocation for previous FA Cup finals, and play-off games, I would think Thursday will also mark the greatest number of WH fans assembled to watch a match since the ECWC final in 1965. I would assume the record was set at the 1923 final.

I remember the discussion when we took around 42,000 to the playoffs. There is no official figures of West Ham fans at either the 23 Cup Final or the 65 ECWC, so Thursday should be the highest official number of West Ham fans at a game in the club's history....well until the Bournemouth game.
