We'll lose 26-0 and the playing staff will be melted down into Champions stones.

Re: West Ham United v AFC Bournemouth: Match thread
Based on what I've seen in the first four competitive games I think the likes of Ibe, Wilson and Gradel will just have too much pace and movement for us. We look leggy and unfit, disorganised, no creativity without Payet or Lanzini, loads of injuries. Add to that they will be bang up for being the first winners at the new stadium, I can only see a defeat I'm afraid!

Re: West Ham United v AFC Bournemouth: Match thread
Could get quite unpleasant if we don't turn up for this one. Which would be a shame.
Adrian, Reid, Masuaku, Carroll, Kouyate will likely return to the line up.
Who knows when we'll see Lanzini, Payet, Feghouli, and Sakho again.

Re: West Ham United v AFC Bournemouth: Match thread
Lose this, Man city afterwards and they are on a high. AND we will be playing them just 4 days after Astra at home with it all to play for. We will be bottom of the league come international break and the knee jerk will become a full on back spasm.
Re: West Ham United v AFC Bournemouth: Match thread
Get a win here and it's a massive boost, we'll have Payet and Lazini fit for Man City followed by an international break which will see Feghouli join them.
Ibe is a very tricky player who can cause us problems but I fancy Payet to score and get a result.

Byram, Reid, Ogbonna, Masuaku
Noble, Nordveit
Antonio, Tore, Payet
Calleri

Re: West Ham United v AFC Bournemouth: Match thread
Byram proved tonight and in half an hour at Chelsea that he is better at right back than Antonio is when forced to play there. Masuaku looked solid enough to me.
Ogbonna got a good 90 under his belt and will most likely come back in for Collins next to Reid.
Kouyate and Noble should start as long as both got through the Romania trip.
Carroll will surely start up top. So that leaves the three behind him.
Surely Payet will be ready to start? Then it is just out of Antonio, Tore and Valencia really maybe even Calleri..?

Re: West Ham United v AFC Bournemouth: Match thread
I think it's safe to say Valencia will start. Payet supposedly took a knock against Chelsea.

We'll be grand.
A double rebound will have us in the right mindset. We did well against Juve.

one team selection from being done with the manager who gave us the best season in a generation, two league games into the next season.TheHandOfDog wrote:If that is the team, I'm done with Slav.
think you've lost the right to ever be critical of another club's entitled supporters in one post there fella.

I must agree that Antonio at the back and Valencia starting upfront will lead to me also thinking Slav has lost the plot.

The front 3 surely have to be Tore, payet, and antonio. I'd like to see Tore on the left though and antonio on the right.
