I'm sorry, but I can't see beyond dropping Adrian for Randolph. Shipping 11 goals in 3 games against poor teams ain't nowhere near good enough. Nobes needs a break too. Lose this one and we are in the ****ing doo-doo

Noble was a complete passenger, and there's no wonder Slav keeps pulling him off the pitch. He's not contributing.

Re: West Ham United v Middlesborough 1st October 16
Sorry MadMart we're right in it now and on yesterday, and the other five performances, I can't see us getting out of it. Boro must be relishing the visit Saturday. My birthday today and my wife and I are going up to the smoke to see Les Miserables (again!). Seems appropriate as it's almost as depressing as watching the Hammers!!!
Re: West Ham United v Middlesborough 1st October 16
People talking about relegation already? A season has 38 games in it for god sake, we have played 5 games, there is still 96 points up for grabs, People want Bilic sacked? Really, after what this guy has done for us, he is the best manager in my opinion that we have had for years, I no lets get avram back! 2 wins and we are back to mid table ish.
Lets just get behind the boys and go again!

Could do with an away game
Trouble is I think everyone's looking at the team we're putting out and realising that we missed an opportunity, not one signing has been an improvement

I promise you right now that Fletcher is not the answer to our problems. I would play Antonio up top as he appears the only play who can / is trying to score. Now is not the time to experiment with young players up top, that said, I would play Oxford as the holding DM.

Ditch the new signings bar Fletcher and move on as if the terrible transfer window didn't happen.

Antonio has been looking like a park player lately. He has offered nothing apart from his headers now and again. He looks quite lethargic to me.BromleyHammer wrote:I promise you right now that Fletcher is not the answer to our problems. We can not allow our season to depend upon Fletcher who scored 5 in League 1 for Barnsley last season. I'm not saying he is a bad player (who don't come through the Man United academy if you're rubbish) - but he is not going to be the one to turn it around for us. I would love to be proved wrong, but he is not a starter yet.Porkeyes wrote:Ditch the new signings bar Fletcher and move on as if the terrible transfer window didn't happen.

The players are petrified of making mistakes.
I'd play players who have nothing to lose. The likes of Fernandes, Fletcher - they are too young to know they should be giving the ball to Boro.
------------Adrian
Byram Reid Oggy Arbeloa
-----Obiang Fernandes
-------------Lanzini
-Feghouli Fletcher Payet

100 % agree Bromley. Just don't want to ditch any youngsters without giving them a chance.

I'm sure Fernandes played as an attacking midfielder for his last club

Adrian stopped it from being a total rout yesterday.MadMart wrote:I'm sorry, but I can't see beyond dropping Adrian for Randolph. Shipping 11 goals in 3 games against poor teams ain't nowhere near good enough. Nobes needs a break too. Lose this one and we are in the ****ing doo-doo

Why are you wasting time posting on here? You have three more goals that need analysing for your thread!kalashnikov wrote:The players are petrified of making mistakes.

He looked good today in CM. I know it was late in the game but if he could move and retain possession like that as a starter he could be a solution.
The difference between the way he showed for the ball and moved it on and the 'lack of showing' Kouyate did was startling.
Big ask for a young player though I know.
@Burnley. Haha I've done two. The third is a bit depressing.
