Does the moody old fart's touchline ban count for this?

It doesn't as the hearing is on Thursday so he will be on the touchline tonight.Ludeksgloves wrote:Does the moody old fart's touchline ban count for this?

Re: Manchester Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread (EFL Cup)
We could rest players for this and still conceivably lose to Arsenal anyway, so there doesn't seem to be much point in weakening the side tonight when it's on the verge of getting some semblance of groove back.
Re: Manchester Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread (EFL Cup)
We should rest no one. Get us into the semis and give us something to shout positively about ffs.

The boss has already said that there will be changes, and that the big man is ready for twenty or thirty minutes...Gep wrote:We should rest no one. Get us into the semis and give us something to shout positively about ffs.
Adrian is practically a certain change I would have thought...
Fletcher up top for 60 minutes replaced by Carroll likely I reckon...
Reids suspension is finished so he could be a change too...
Wouldn't be surprised to see Fernandes feature.

Does anyone know how many tickets we have sold for this? I see they are still available to buy

I don't generally like Payet in the middle but it will be about countering tonight and him receiving the ball forward quickly and streaming forward will be a big part of the game plan, I wouldn't restrict him to a side when we could need him to appear anywhere. Ayew up top is also not a preference but he's the fastest and most tenacious of our strikers. Running channels will be vital and I trust him above the others to deliver if the chance arises.

Come on boys!!!
Massive well done to everyone going up there, especially those that made the trip on Sunday as well. Gutted I can't be there, enjoyed the trip to Manchester for City at the start of the season (despite the result).
Really hope we go all guns blazing like against Chelsea. Can see us nicking this on penalties.
COYI!

Schweinsteiger could be starting. Our counterattacking potential could be huge tonight made better by an even slower midfield.
EDIT: I would save Noble for our derby and we could play Fernandes or try Feghouli somewhere as suggested below.

Re: Manchester Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread (EFL Cup)
Could be just tomorrow's chip paper but The Guardian suggests that Adrian, Nordveidt, Fernandes, Feghouli and Ayew could all start tonight.
Would be disappointed if that was the case.

Only real disappointment for me would be Nordveit. Would like to see Ayew get a good run out up front given all the chat when he signed about his games/goal ratio when playing as striker for SwanseaJames P wrote:Could be just tomorrow's chip paper but The Guardian suggests that Adrian, Nordveidt, Fernandes, Feghouli and Ayew could all start tonight.

Would be happy with Feghouli starting. We've not seen near the best of Feghouli yet, bloke has got wheels and quality, tonight could suit him if we set up to counter-attack.

Re: Manchester Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread (EFL Cup)
Please no Collins, both he and Nordtviet need to stay away from the pitch, we've had enough balls ups from individuals for two seasons already and it's still November.
