Yep, I'd give Collins this game so that Ogbonna can have a night off in preparation for Saturday.

That sits better with me, especially as I'd imagine Reid goes back to patrolling and it gives Collins a less central (pun intended) role in how we defend.

With that in mind I might also be happy with Fernandez in and Antonio on the bench/Antonio further forward and Lanzini rested.

There's a semi-final at stake here, to hell with this resting b*llocks.

Strongest team out do these c****, they can have a rest Thursday and Friday.

Slav can tell the lads to put their feet up until Saturdays game.

The biggest mistake we could make is allowing Collins to play on the right of the 3.

Look at how John Terry coped against us.

Play him in the middle. Reid played left sided centre back for years before Ogbonna pitched up.

The big questions are how do we balance defence and attack, how do we score against them and who leads the attack with Sakho sidelined?

Their midfield will be a lot smaller but more technical than it has been in recent encounters.

Quite a few of those who went up on Sunday will also be making the trip tomorrow .The two matches will cost those fans nearly £80 plus travel costs .

Those supporters deserve to be shown the respect of a full strength team from both clubs .

If we are brave I reckon we'll win .

Attack, attack, attack .

I would go Ayew and Fletcher up top for this one. I would go 4 4 2 push Antonio forward and put Arbeloa at right back. I don't think Slav will as Man United left side is where they can hurt us. Rashford or Martial is where the danger will be. As long as we give it a go and not sit back like Sunday I think we will just edge it. Dont risk Carroll for this one save him for Arsenal.

Not going tomorrow sadly, but went up there for both games last season; both occasions drank at the Rain Bar, near Oxford (sorry DL) Road station around Deansgate, only about 10-15 mins walk from Piccadily and in a good spot to grab a cab that skirts the city centre and will get you to OT in about 10 mins. Nice pub next to the canal, good choice of ales, mix of home and away but was probably 80-20 in favour of our fans last year.

Would go for this...

Adrian

Kouyate Reid Oggy

Fernandes Noble Obiang Cresswell

Lanzini Payet

Ayew

Just giving Antonio a wee break, plus I really like Fernandes and think his work-rate alongside Nobes and Pedro/ and in front of Chiek could give us a good spine, and a good base for a very creative front 3.

Safe journey to all of you making the trip tomorrow.

2-1 Irons. :scarfer:

2 visits to Old Trafford in the space of 4 days is more than most Manchester United fans make in a lifetime FACT

I wasn't sure if I'd make it again tonight but managed to work late yesterday so I'll be on a train from MK around 3pm. COYI let's get into the semi finals!

Spot on Pinky! :crest:

I'd change as little from the weekend as possible.

Barring any players that NEED resting, it's got to be Ayew or Fletcher in for the injured Sakho surely?
