If a player refuses to play surely you could terminate their contact and sue under breach of contract? It's not like he is a player we would get any money for

Jinxed - was this through not being fit / match sharp, or just general attitude?

Thanks for the info as usual.

I'm sure I read somewhere that he didn't even have his shirt with him in the dugout. Someone had to shoot down the tunnel to get it from the changing room when they'd realised he was going on. Two-bob attitude from a two-bob player.

Speaking of the reserves where is Oxford? Is he injured or not being played until he signs a deal or something? Surely better to give him a game than ginge at this stage considering he can run and might show a bit of determination

Fair enough, shame could do with him

Recall Burke asap. Letting him be loaned is Almost as bad as not signing a right back

Terrible decision. He could have been a right wing back for us or a centre back. Best youngster on the books and I'd trust him over ogbonna after sat evening

I'm not particularly pleased with myself, but I left when their third went in. I have left precisely one game before the final whistle up until this weekend (because my son was ill, about four years ago) but I'd just had enough. As my mate said to me "if someone like you is leaving early, we have a problem" (not that I think I'm a better fan than anyone who does leave early, but I have simply never done it myself). At the moment I don't feel like dragging myself to any more games before the new year. I have been crushed and beaten.

If it was just **** football I don't think I'd be that bothered. If everything else was **** but the football was great, again it wouldn't be a show stopper. I'm just feeling like this is an experience that I no longer get much out of, bar a visit to Trurib, so why should I continue? I'm too old and don't have the energy any more.

just remembered the highlight of my day

got on the dlr at stratford high street after staying behind for a few more and there was a father and son on the dlr in c&b scarves

so when i got on - i said to them was it still 1-1 mate i left early

the look on their faces was priceless - probably cos it was never 1-1 but i thought it was hilarious

it was what happened in the next 85 odd minutes that made me never want to see him in a west ham shirt again.

First thing my Arsenal mate text me saying after the game was "we would never have won that game 5-1 at the Boleyn".

Had to agree. Our support was pathetic, everyone in the new stadium is only interested in waiting for the next mistake and moaning rather than supporting the team. No wonder everyone looks like they have the hump. It was like being at...the Emirates.

There was probably a slight moistening in the Brady lingerie

Everyone? bit of an assumption, not sure how any-one can come to that conclusion on the feelings of 50k other fans.

It did look clear Arbeloa lacked interest but his job was impossible. Arsenal doubled up on him and had acres of space to exploit him, he was on a hiding to nothing before he even kicked a ball.

Cafu in his prime would have had a mare on Saturday, absolutely no one covered him, it was shocking.

Arsenal would have spanked that side at Upton Park.
