Is it even worth playing this game? We should just give them the 3 points and save everyone the hassle of going to the game and wasting their time (throws toys out of pram!)

Looks like neither Antonio or Cresswell are serious but unlikely to make Arsenal...

Never rains does it.

We could be in serious **** before Xmas the way things are going, this is way beyond a bad start now.

Antonio - out

Cresswell - out

Carroll - on the bench

Arbeloa - very doubtful we will see him in a West Ham shirt again

Tore - looking to send back in Jan

Ayew - mysterious one this, may or may not be available for Saturday apparently has a knock

So down about West Ham.

We've given points away to Everton, Stoke & Tottenham in recent weeks who were all poor.

Same problems every week. No defence down the right hand side and no striker.

Just can't see the point in even turning up for this.

May as well go to the pictures instead.

0-4 at best. Same again for Liverpool next week. Potentially bottom by the Burnley game.

I could have taken a poor season. Why is it always a disaster?!

So, what are we left with?

I suppose it'll be something along the lines of....

-------------------Randolph----------------
Kouyate---Reid---Ogbonna-Masuaku
---------------Noble--Obiang--------------
----Feghouli-----Lanzini--------Payet--
---------------------Ayew--------------------

That actually doesn't look that bad to me. Reckon we'll do better than many are expecting. A 1-1 draw or a good performance but a narrow, depressing loss.

I've seen worse teams from us

And that's without fletcher who will come good!

No matter how we dress it up right back is a problem

What's gone on with arbeloa looked cracking then falls out what the hell

.....................................Hart

Ivanovich.......Smalling......Reid.......Cresswell

...................................Obiang

...................Noble (c).....................Lanzini

....................................Payet

.....................Tevez.......................Ayew

Or:

.....................................Adrian

...............Kouyate........Ogbonna.......Reid

Fernandes.................................................Masuaku

.....................Noble......................Obiang

..................................Lanzini

...............Ayew................................Payet

Really hard to pick a team given the options. Wouldn't want to carry on with this 3 at the back malarkey, but can't see an alternative.

Hopefully the injuries see us revert to 4 at the back. Below would be my team.

------------------------Adrian
Kouyate-----Reid-------Ogbonna-----Masuaka
------------------------Obiang
-------------------Noble------Lanzini
-------Feghouli-------------------------Payet
-------------------------Ayew

Reckon it'll be:

-----------------------------Randolph
-------------------Kouyate---Reid---Ogbonna
Fernandes---------------------------------------Masuaka
---------------------------Noble--Obiang
-----------------Lanzini----------------------Payet
------------------------------Fletcher

Either way I reckon we'll get a spanking.

I've never been more sure of victory. Never.

I think we will win 4-0. Strikers will score and we will play like men possessed in every aspect of the game. Our season begins Saturday, the dawn of an unrelenting run that see's us pushing for Europe and looking like the godly team we were last season all over again.

Subdue your pessimism. Time to start believing again.

After writing this post I feel like we're now going to win 5-0.

Will get smashed 3 or 4 nil will concede with in first 10mins and heads will go down. All the bottle jobs will give up which will be about 7 players. So will be 4v11 for the rest of the game.

Bold predictions for the weekend, we will not concede a goal in the first 30 minutes and we will look organised because we were able to retain the ball better. We will marvel at the transformation and wondered what has changed.

With these injuries on top of the poor form I think this and the Liverpool games are a right off. We need to wrap up some of these players in cotton wool 'cos if we don't get at least 4 points from the Burnley and Hull games this could get embarrassing :(

Feeling good about this .

We have the uncanny knack of upsetting the odds against the so called top clubs , and especially so Arsenal .

When you go to the Emirates you can't see 1980 on their wall .
