Or may have dreamt it.
That's just general Nick Barmby fear, this has been replaced by Romelu Lukaku fear. Scored against us for pretty much every club he ever played for. The worst for me was a 4-0 home defeat under 'arry when he got a hatrick. 99/00 I think.

As for tomorrow we should and must win this one. We should go for it and play on their nerves. Almost feel like our lot are better when they don't think and just do.

Somebody like Zaza...

Or maybe Sakho if only he wasn't injured you mean.

Meanwhile we have the best offensive player in the league in the air but don't play to his strengths.

Good to see all the optimism, I do really hope we come good....

Hull are shocking away, lost 6 in a row, let in 5/6 against Liverpool/Bournemouth, scored just 2..On the other hand, we struggled to score against Burnley, so nervous, and they had some great chances to get a draw, so I just don't know anymore.

You and me too...

We only beat Burnley, who are notionally worse than Hull, by a rebound from a penalty.

To be fair, we hit the post twice also. Another day and they drop in the corner.

We need against this lot 110% commitment, never give them a minute to settle. Go at them from the off and play with no fear.
Stop all this let them come on to us and hope to hit them on the break, 110% effort. get Antonio to run at their back line and win the free kicks around the box. Get some decent balls into AC let him batter Dawson senseless. I'm hoping we do really go at them but I don't think we will we just don't seem fit enough, but if centre midfield get there act together we can win this,

We may have hit the post twice (in my book that's missing the target) but Burnley also headed over an empty goal when it was easier to score.

If everyone performs to 6-8 out of 10 we beat these, it's when we start doing stupid stuff and taking our foot off of the gas, or never putting it on it, that the problems start.

At home to Hull should be a home banker, absolutely no question, failure to get the three points would be very worrying.

Spurs (A) lost 3-0
Boro (A) lost 1-0
Sunderland (A) lost 3-0
Watford (A) lost 1-0
Bournemouth (A) lost 6-1
Liverpool (A) lost 5-1
Burnley (A) draw 1-1

That's 8 games. 5 goals scored, 24 conceded. 6 consecutive away losses.

We really should be beating them...
The West Ham way eehhh????

Lost 12-2 against three top half teams.

They've played four bottom eight teams. 1 win, 1 draw, 2 defeats.

A banker for last year's West Ham. This season's though?

The only headline thumping down the bottom was v Sunderland. Anichebe got 2, IIRC. Who is most like him in our attacking options?

I've got no doubts about Hull being poor...

It's that we've had spells in games this season where we've been abysmal...

The last such spell being just three games ago.

I'd go

-------------------Randolph
---------Kouyate---Reid---Obgbonna
Fernandes-----Obiang----------Creswell
----Antonio------Lanzini------Payet
--------------------Carroll

Noble will play though (he's unlucky to miss out in my team), so I'd swap to 4-5-1 putting Kouyate RB with Lanzini playing just off Carroll.

We really are in desperate need of a RB or RWB, as the less defence responsibility given to Antonio the better.

Very hard to predict this one isn't it? Hull will look at our game against Burnley and probably fancy their chances. The one thing that remains constant this season is lack of ideas in the final 3rd. This was painfully highlighted on Wednesday night. Apart from Dimi sliding in Cresswell on the overlap to put a cross in there seems to be no other attacking ideas. As others have pointed out, if we are going to hoof it up to Carroll then he needs somebody within 10 yards of him to knock it down to (which for the most part he didn't have on Wednesday).

I can only see us scoring from a set piece right now or latching onto a mistake from an opposition defender. Anyway, I'll take another rebound from a penalty in this one. Tomorrow is all about the 3 points.

Agree with Bilic when he says 'we are playing with a cramp'. We needed that Burnley win to take the shackles off so I expect a slightly more positive performance tomorrow if going a goal up. Although I would even take another scrappy 1-0 so that the confidence goes up and we can play more freely against Swansea without the negative thoughts of needing to get a result.

I'm not at all confident about this, we have to win but I don't trust us to be professional and get the job done.

I had a dream last night that Ayew scored a belter today, however my dream also ended with me nailing a sweetish supermodel. Ayew to the bench

I'd happily take a draw today in exchange for a good performance , and by that I mean some slick, accurate, quick passing coupled with decent movement and a strong work ethic .

I want to see four players in the oppositions box when the ball comes in , which of course will leave us exposed at the back to any Hull counter attack but we need some entertainment , and some proper football .

We're West Ham United , we play on the floor .

1-0 or 9-0...a win is a win, so I don't buy into the 'we only just beat Burnley' line because the fact is we did beat Burnley, and we will beat Hull.

An improved performance will lead to a win, and at this stage the most important thing is to get the three points. Stick with the same team and we will be moving up the table after todays win...and however it comes, a win is a win.
